The area is perfect for walking and cycling holidays in the summer, with the Tour de France a regular visitor to the village. In winter there is a choice of 4 ski resorts within an hours drive, the closest being less than 30 minutes away.

Wander around this delightful medieval village with its impressive chateau and delightful church. In the local area you will also find the wonders of St Bertrand de Comminges, the pre-historic Gargas caves and the famous Spa town of Luchon.

Die Unterkunft entspricht den Bildern. Es ist zwar ein altes Haus aber hat trotzdem sehr viel Charme. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Leider hatten wir nicht so viel Glück mit dem Wetter, so dass wir den Pool und Hottub nur eingeschränkt nutzen konnten.Als Kritikpunkt möchte ich dennoch die Anfahrt zu dem Haus erwähnen. Hier sollte darauf hingewiesen werden, dass die Anfahrt zu dem Anwesen sehr eng ist und es fast keine Wendemöglichkeit gibt. Wir haben nach dem Auspacken deshalb unser Auto unten in dem Ort abgestellt. Pluspunkt: Bei Rückfragen oder Problemen hat Nigel immer sehr schnell reagiert und weitergeholfen. Außerdem ist die Gegend sehr schön und liegt mitten in den Pyrenäen. Für Radsportliebhaber ist es ein Paradies da mit dem Port de Balés ein HC der Tour de France direkt vor der Haustür beginnt.
