"This was a historic hotel with amazing character. We will definitely be staying here again. The bed, sheets, and pillows were the best we've ever slept on. This was reasonably priced compared to other hotels in this area and was in walking distance of downtown. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly!"

Spearfish Cottages
10/10 Excellent
"When I was looking on hotels.com for a room in spearfish, SD and came across the Spearfish cottages I selected it because of the feedback rating and the pictures.
These 10 individual cottages all share a large, tree lined, grassy backyard area.
There is a public hot tub, a bench switch, lots of room for kids to play, but most of all, it’s quiet.
The units are adorable, clean, well Syed out, and so very comfortable.
We love these cottages. I would definitely recommend unit 10. I know we will when we book there again. It was perfect for walking our dogs out back. It’s far from the street and is a little paradise. "
"Beds were comfortable / clean room / pet friendly / very nice staff.
Should have a little better posting about where to get things at the breakfast. (Did not know where to get scrambled eggs and sausage until after eating other items)"
"It was a queen size bed, one very tiny room, only had enough space to walk around the bed period!!! no microwave, not really enough items to be able to cook with. No closet. Shower was so small I barely had enough space to shower. Not enough towels, I had to call to have more delivered.Only had a cheap small window air conditioner. I will not be staying here again. Not worth the price I paid!"
"It's a couple blocks from downtown easily walkable we took morning strolls with the kids on the sidewalk. East parking, loaded with things to cook with. I would suggest a drying rack for those who don't want to run the dishwasher at half. The floorboards are messed up in the bathroom and he kitchen and should be fixed. We have 3 kids and they were comfortable with enough to do and parks to go to but I would suggest some outlet covers to protect those of us that have crawling babies :) overall would stay again"
