Given our large family size, the cabin's spaciousness was a significant advantage. Spearfish Canyon Lodge

8/10 Good
"The room was clean and a nice size. We were by an exit door, so it was noisy in the morning with the door slamming shut as people went out to their cars. I hadn’t realized when I booked through Expedia that breakfast was not included. We enjoyed using the outdoor personal hot tubs. We also liked that several hiking trails were available right from the lodge."

"There was very little toilet paper we had to go get some. There was three bed with no mattress pads on the beds and one bed had blood on mattress and another had dead flies and one has water bottle between mattress we left it. Lots of light bulbs out. The ovens are very dirty and still are I didn't clean them. And is the room off the upper big bed room is the bed stuff clean or dirty? And we we're short towels but found some in dry that where still wet so we rewashed them and use them. I'm thinking and I guess must of this is the cleaners problem!! I would like to share some photos if the owners would like to see them but will not put on this site. It is a very nice place but needs better house keepers. And yes we would stay here again."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived with 6 couples and 20 grandchildren. Everyone was excited to check out the house upon arrival.
