"We had an incredible stay at Casa Umbè in Pietrasanta – truly a 10/10 experience. From the start, the hosts Giovanni and Tanja were amazing. They stayed in touch via WhatsApp before and during our stay and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Since taxis are hard to find in the area, they arranged for a friend to pick us up from the train station. "Pros: La gentilezza della host, nell’appartamento c’era proprio tutto: indispensabile x cucina e bagno, una bottiglia d’acqua in frigo al nostro arrivo, cialde per il caffè, tostapane, phon, spazio lavanderia, aria condizionata, arredo minimal ma di gusto. Cons: La scala per salire in camera è un po’ “insidiosa”"

"The place was excellent. Great views. Only two issues...1) The balcony would have been amazing, but we had no key to access it. 2) I don't believe it was mentioned, but a car is a must if you stay here. We had to find a cab to get into the town. Getting to a bus is a 15 minute, extremely dangerous walk on a narrow windy road with no shoulder. I'd still stay again, but I'd be sure to get my own transportation."
