Quality Inn Old Saybrook - Westbrook
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is modern and provides as close to a full breakfast as you could get under the heading of "continental". The room was spacious and clean. My one complain was the overall design of the building. First, like us, everyone had to drive around both sides of the building to find the office which is in the back. Signage would have been nice. Second, the halls are like a maze. Once we figured it out - fine, but it took a while, especially since the parking is not close to the elevator to go up to the 3rd floor. The room itself was spacious and nice."
"The room was very nice and the staff were all very helpful.
The only small negatives were the TV was mounted at an angle and the bathroom countertops were very low"
"The hotel is lovely. By their own admission the owners have a notice saying excuse us whilst we renovate. The lodge was fine, we didn’t really notice it wanted much done. The car park was plenty, the room was spacious and comfy. Great views out the back. Convenient for the area, we really liked it. "

10/10 Excellent
"Our stay in Old Saybrook was absolutely perfect! The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We loved the cozy coastal vibe, and the amenities were above and beyond—everything from the kitchen supplies to the comfy beds was thoughtfully provided. (Laundry too!)The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to the beach, the town center, and local favorites like Pasta Vita. We especially appreciated the scenic surroundings and the quick access to everything we wanted to do.The host was kind and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and welcoming. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend this spot if you're visiting the Connecticut shoreline!"
"Really nice property and very helpful staff. Area around the hotel is pretty, with lots of places to sit and watch the geese. Rooms are okay--be sure to get a "suite" or a double, as the single rooms are very small. Bathing facilities are pretty rudimentary--could use a shower seat or a bathtub. "Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice."
