"The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "

"The bottom line is this was a great property with lots to do in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Every year, a group of us friends (some single, some married) get together in a different part of the country to hang out with each other. We were all a little nervous about this area because we were concerned everything would be focused on kids. "Really really nice property. Only issue we had was the next guest renting the property showed up around 9:30 while we were cleaning up and our check out time was 10. It was a bit weird and inconvenient but apparently they booked the unit to set up for an event from 10-11. I think that’s a bit close with our time being 10 to check out. Otherwise, the property was beautiful! No issues at all. "

"We had to wait for someone to show up to check in. We finally checked in. Rooms very basic. Needing a lot of attention especially the bathroom. We stayed 4 nights and requested the room to be made up everyday. It never got done. We had to request clean towels on the second night. The shower was good then the water went really hot. Overall disappointed "
