My husband and I stayed here for a week visiting our daughter. The property was clean and cozy. It had all the amenities we needed for the two of us. We worked remotely for a week and had very few problems. We did lose power once but we just went to a coffee shop (Lizzie B’s) which was a nice change of scenery. We did have some trouble finding it once we made the turn on the road (second house on the right) as it was dark and we didn’t have cell service. Cindy and her husband were so friendly and welcoming. We knew if we had any issues they would help us out no problem. Thank you for a great week.
This host has thought about almost everything you may need during your stay! They left a goodie basket with a note to welcome us. You can tell from their organization and check-ins with us that they truly want their visitors to have a great experience. Also, the decor of this home was very cute and well thought out and the home is located in a rural area that has beautiful woodland views. All of the kitchen accessories/dishes looked rather new. We did not bring our dogs, however they do allow them and have accessories there for the dogs. Also, they have a gate on their front porch that would allow you to sit out there with your fur baby and not worry about them running off. I would have given this venue a 5, however we had a very hard time sleeping. The bed is not great and we were hot. We had a difficult time trying to get the air unit to work to where we could just have a fan blowing in the room. HOWEVER, I am pretty certain the host would have come and looked at it, however we were busy the entire wknd, and did not reach out to them, then not back to the home until bedtime. I do wish all host were as thoughtful as Cindy and John are.
