"Parking is free and unlimited and opposite the hotel.. unusual in that the hotel is above a pub/reataurant.. There is a lift to all floors and AC in the room. Old fashioned key for the room door, which needs to be locked on exit Tea and coffee making with biscuits in the room and a good shower with a detachable head "

"We cannot fault this hotel. The staff were attentive, polite and helpful. The room was well lit, adequate power sockets and overlooked Broad Street. There was a reasonable bar menu and the breakfast was excellent. There was parking around the west side of the building. The Winter/Spring price was reasonable but it can more than double in high season."

"The hotel is lovely and the staff are very polite and friendly. Situated right on the seafront the front facing room was large with perfect views. We visited at the end of February and it was a shame that the bar was not set up to sell draught beers and the main restaurant was not open in the evenings. My husband is gluten free which the hotel knew in advance but he was not able to have any gluten free cereal for breakfast. I do want to reiterate the hotel and our room was lovely and Sidmouth is a thriving lovely town. We did really enjoy our stay. "

"Booked for 1 night, business trip. Biggest positive was staff, helpful great people. Biggest negative, a bit let down shower cabin. In general good standard room for a good price. Small paid parking but managed smart and safe, which was important for me. "
