"Lake view was as advertised and provided a beautiful view of Superior. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was queaky clean and shower was hot with good water pressure. Parking was close but don't show up too late at night or it'll be difficult to find a spot. One annoying thing is the deposit they do at check in, we budgeted our trip based on the price we booked on hotels.com and by the time we made it to checkin there was a $100 deposit that felt kind of sneaky. Overall 8/10."

"This is a clean nice place to stay. Seemed kinda expensive for what you get for a 2 bedroom, but everything that was updated was pretty nice. My car got broken into overnight when it was parked on the street. There is a garage, but it is too small for our midsize SUV to fit in. Only a compact car should expect to park in the garage. The floors are refinished beautifully! Nice choices for furnishings and cute decor touches through out. The view out the kitchen window on the lake was beautiful. The autumn blaze maple trees in the neighborhood were at peak fall beauty! It's really only set up for 2-3 people to sleep in a regular bedroom. It would be a ncie place to live, but kinda an odd set up for a short term rental with the cost. Even if the second bedroom had a bunk bed so you could have a couple kids sleep in there it would be better. The hosts were very organized and the over all set up was nice."

"Very prompt communication from host. It smells a bit odd in there. The host says it's from the pilot light in the stove and recommended opening a window. That didn't do much since the window is pointing towards the bedroom. The sink in the bathroom is VERY small. It's barely large enough to wash hands with much less brush teeth or wash face or shave. The internet provided by the host is also pretty fast. The floor is slanted up as you walk further in into the bedroom area. It is not level / flat. The pictured dresser already has the top two drawers filled with stuff. This really only leaves one drawer free (unless you want to move stuff out just to move it back in later). There is a VERY dingy storage shed type room you have to walk through to get from the outside into the "condo". It is mostly dry, but it's not the best experience to walk through there just to get to the place you're staying at. The air conditioner didn't seem to help much when it was in the 70s outside."

"My stay at the carriage house at the Merryweather Inn was lovely. The unit is very clean and comfortable. I felt safe as a single traveler. Communication with the host was excellent. I loved the historic charm with the crown moldings, and the beautiful colors painted throughout. There is a staircase needed to climb with all of your luggage, so pack light! The location is easy to find, and also a short drive to canal park and other areas of Duluth. Easy on street parking in a nice neighborhood . Thank you for the unique place to vacation!"
