Sophie’s Barn is part of We Stays’ multi-award-winning collection. A stunning 4-bedroom detached barn conversion settled in peaceful open green space and part of the prestigious Nevill Holt Estate. A short drive from the village of Great Easton and enveloped in the rolling south Leicestershire countryside, the barn sleeps up to 10 guests.
The Space:
The ground floor of the Barn boasts a large open plan kitchen, dining and living space allowing for free movement throughout the rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to cook up a storm and there is a Nespresso Machine for all you coffee lovers out there! The huge dining table is ideal for family banquets and games nights and the living room is the perfect place for everyone to relax in the evening. There is also a boot room and downstairs wc.
Patio doors invite you out to the enclosed garden where you can enjoy your morning coffee whilst taking in the views or relax back for Al Fresco dining on the evenings that weather permits, on those brisker days you can ignite the firepit to warm up your occasion. We can also arrange for a luxury hot tub to be added to your stay (additional fees apply) Please enquire for more information on this.
The Barn’s beauty is spread across two floors and exposes the stunning Leicestershire countryside from every angle with breath taking views wherever you find yourself in the property.
Versatile sleeping arrangements within Sophie’s Barn make this the perfect stay for all group dynamics. There are 4 super king-sized bedrooms all of which can be transformed in to 8 single beds upon request. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and then there is a further family bathroom with over bath shower. For additional sleeping, there is also a double sofa bed located in the living room.

The Neighborhood:
If you’re looking for a little more to do than peace, tranquillity and beautiful walks there is plenty to see and do only a stones throw away in the surrounding villages and towns. Take a day out to Rockingham Castle and Gardens, only a 10 minute drive away, which regularly host events for the whole family. You may also wish to visit the Nevill Holt Opera House (6 minute drive away) or explore what Rutland Water has to offer. One thing is for sure, there is an array of quaint English pubs and exquisite restaurants surrounding the area to explore.
The house is also adjacent to Eyebrook Reservoir which is perfect for trout fishing and birdwatching.

We can welcome up to 2 dogs with you to enjoy your stay (pending pre approval) however we may have to decline pet visits from the start of October the end of February. Sophie’s Barn is a special find. We loved the setting in open countryside and the interior was great. Big open spaces inside and out. Bed and bedrooms are very comfortable and be linens are high quality. Great extras like games, artwork and welcome pack made things even better. We will be back.
Overall a very nice property in a very nice location
The property has a high standard, there are a few things however that could be improved on. Wardrobe space is sadly lacking and could be placed on the landing. Also a chair in the bedroom. Please dont be so stringy with the toilet rolls. Willprobably
