"Stayed in the Emory suite, place is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Suite had a fridge, electric stove top, microwave and toaster oven. No actual oven but the toaster oven was perfect. We cooked pizza in it and toasted our bread for sandwiches. Kitchen has pans/utensils to cook, small coffee maker. Bed was firm and very comfortable. TV and books about Big Bend in room. Great WiFi. Close to the Big Bend NP entrance. There’s a store a few minutes away where you can buy groceries. The night sky view was amazing! Would definitely stay here again. We stayed in 2 other places (Chisos lodge and another inn nearby) Paisano RV Village was definitely our favorite place to stay at. "
"Everything was in place and the lanterns really came in handy as it gets really dark around Big Bend. The house is in a great setting across from an outstanding general store and accessible to Big Bend National Park. The home is very roomy, and we enjoyed the sunsets from the front porch as well as the firepit "

10/10 Excellent
"Great stay! Each year some college friends and I (we're all 50 now) plan a guys trip for a long weekend and this year we went to Big Bend and Mucho Gusto. The property was great...private, good size, very clean, very quiet and well maintained. It had patios and sitting areas on all sides of the house to move around and watch the sunrise, sunset or stay out of the sun. There were even some old ruins off the entrance that made for some great pictures. As noted, it was very close to the park and an easy shot in. I was worried there would be some highway noise, but we did not notice it. Night sky stars were amazing. Hosts very helpful and informative. Check-in instructions and information on the area were extremely helpful and informative. There were lots of travel tips, like the best grocery stores are 80 miles from the house and best to stop on the way in.It was a much needed break and will definitely stay at Mucho Gusto again if/when I get back to Big Bend."
"We had a wonderful stay here in Terlingua. We came for the stargazing and were not disappointed! The skies are very dark, Bortle-1. The nighttime pic on our review is of the Summer Milky Way, taken on only a phone looking south from the tall side of the house. The house is surrounded by a flat gravel yard so we had a safe place to set up our telescope. Even though we brought a telescope we had the most enjoyment from sitting in lounge chairs using regular binoculars to gaze at Sagittarius, Scorpius, sparkly star clusters and the Milky Way. The house is beautiful, sleek and modern with fantastic views, and the area is very quiet with perfect privacy. There are small bushy flowering plants around the patio that brought in many tiny butterflies, and the house is surrounded by an Ocotillo forest that must look stunning when in bloom. We’ll definitely be back!"
"This is a wonderful property with wonderful responsive hosts.
The beds are comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed to make meals, everything was well stocked. The outside has so many different seating areas, you can find the perfect spot at any time of day/or night!
I would definitely stay here again. "
