"I was presently surprised to learn the Heritage and History of the place and had no clue that famed racing driver Carrol Shelby and Dave Witts were the founders. Staff was awesome. There was a nice hiking trail right behind our cabin.

"Clean room until we tracked in sand. A rug at the door or a room to sweep up would be helpful. Air conditioning and ceiling fan worked well. Bring your own hairdryer. Shops and gas nearby. Close to Big Bend National Park."

"This was a cute property not too far from the entrance to Big Bend. They thought of several little details to make sure that you had everything that you may need. The property came with games, private outdoor seating, an individual fire pit with seating, and they had grills for use with utensils. They also had wagons at each parking spot so you could transport your luggage to your tiny home. We enjoyed the dark sky at the property our first night there. It does have sleeping for 4, but I think it would have been a little tight for 4 adults. It worked really well for our family though!"

"Everything was really clean and comfortable. The only suggestion is a black out curtain in the bedroom so car headlights don’t light up the room at night. Also a curtain over the window above the couch so the sun doesn’t reflect in the TV making it impossible to watch from the couch until the sun goes down."

"We had a great stay! MJs is the perfect location to everything! The out door fire pit and table area were wonderful in the evenings! Great view of the Santa Elena canyon and close to cottonwood general store! Will be back! "
