Its a lovely spot. We hiked around the neighborhood with our puppy. The house is very clean and comfortable. The TV is set up to sign in to your own streaming apps. The back yard has a large table that can be screened off. It was perfect.

Sweet Home

Just stayed at John’s house and it was such a sweet home. It is located in a great area and has everything you need for your stay. One thing I loved was that it was dog friendly and I was able to bring my four-legged fur baby with us! His property was plenty for him to run around. Thank you John for letting us stay in your sweet home! We truly enjoyed it and hope to be back soon!

Valley Oak review

Just a short weekend when the daughter and grand kids came to visit. The house was near ours and easy to get to. The kids all loved the place and were very impressed.

Wonderful mountain time

We were in Mariposa to visit family for Thanksgiving. The VRBO rental was clean, spacious and quiet. We loved being in this quiet neighborhood. We appreciate being able to bring our dog with us.

Having the EV charger available was great. Fully stocked kitchen to allow for cooking along with a BBQ out back was super handy. Spacious, comfortable and the evenings allowed for superb star gazing.

It was super near inside and beautiful. Quiet neighborhood with lots of cool amenities and local grocery stores being 30 minutes away. This house had me ready to move to Mariposa .

Nice and quiet place

It's a very nice place with good surroundings. The place has everything you need. The host is very accommodating. Just note that it is in a rural area and hard to find at night. There are no street lights in the entire neighborhood.

Spacious and quiet in a beautiful area

The kitchen was stocked really well with utensils and pans etc and the gas stove and outdoor grill so you could cook really proper meals. We loved sitting at the dinner table for meals. The towels were really nice and the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. There is a nice spacious pantry and we appreciated there being a styrofoam cooler that we could use in our days trips to Yosemite. days and there was a styrofoam cooler we could use for our days trips to Yosemite. Lovely home in a great location. The EV charger is a big plus

John's house was wonderful - clean, with ample space, a beautiful gazebo, and a well stocked kitchen. The location is ideal - about 50 minute drive from Yosemite entrance, so not too close but not too far for a family with a car. The EV charging is a big plus for folks with EVs, as it saves folks the hassle of needing to spend time charging during their trip. John's communication was great too, with the one small nit being not explicitly calling out that there is a pet cleaning fee in the listing itself. Although it was a very reasonable price, it would have been good to know that it applies during booking time. Looking forward to staying here again!

Great place to stay for visiting Yosemite

My husband, our dog, and I stayed at this property for our trip to Yosemite. It was conveniently located (~1 hour to the park and ~15 minutes to Mariposa) with a lot of amenities! We really enjoyed our time here and thank John for the hospitality.
