We had a great time, should be aware of location for night driving, as well, no wine glasses!!! great time with the quiet location and beautiful deck and hot tub.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin this weekend. Property was very clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Can’t wait to return!
We stayed here during our time volunteering for disaster relief. This cabin is beautiful, spacious for large groups, has a hot tub, pool table, and grill and fire place that we thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommned this property
House was secluded, well stocked, and met all of our expectations. Could use some new pool sticks and ping pong paddles but at the price the game room was a bonus so we were just happy to have it. Great house overall and our favorite one we have stayed at in the NC mountains (go every fall).
We loved our quiet weekend in the mountain at this vrbo. I really have no negative reviews. The house was clean and gorgeous. For our group of 10, we had room to explore where we didn’t feel cramped. The location was wonderful and we greatly enjoyed our time!
We had 8 ladies for a girls weekend. The house was really nice, very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed the hot tub and the seclusion. Great communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend!

Kids loved the bunks downstairs, everything we needed was in the kitchen, bathroom on every floor 👍, wish we had brought firewood for the outdoor fireplace, very quiet- in the middle of the woods on the side of a mountain, did not like the huge spiderweb across the porch I walked into first thing in the morning (spider didn’t like me either!)
The cabin was spacious and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the layout and the various amenities. The property was easy to ge to and was extremely quiet. Just what was needed to spend time with the family and recharge. The owners we absolutely amazing and responded quickly to inquiries. Thanks so much!
We moved into this property on very short notice after a different rental (through a different rental agency) we had reserved didn’t work out for us. This home was just what we needed to unwind and enjoy the rest of our vacation. We just wish we had booked it for an entire week! Our kids really loved the space, also.
Amazing host. Amazing property. The perfect location. Secluded but close enough to food and supplies. Beautiful and quiet area that you feel that you are away from everything that you meant to leave behind. Wonderful communication with Kelly. All my questions answered and responded to promptly. Would highly recommend this property. And if this one is an indication of the Hosts attentiveness to to their clients. Then I would highly recommend their other properties as well. Thank you a wonderful experience. Darren
This property was perfect for us as my 70+ parents & Uncle/Aunt needed a place that didn’t require a lot of stairs. This was absolutely perfect as the entry into the house had one little step from the deck into the home. There were two bedrooms on the main floor which were perfect for them. My husband & myself used the steps the Master bedroom upstairs & the younger couple that came to assist with my Dad used the downstairs for sleeping & playing pool. We had read reviews about the cookware & came prepared with our own cooking items. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The hosts were exceptional with communicating and answering my questions.
The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed plus some, for our stay. The drive to/from took a little getting used to because the road is very narrow. The only time I felt uneasy was when we’d come across a car coming in the opposite direction. Thankfully the locals don’t seem as intimidated and usually went a little off road as I tried to figure out how to get out of the way. 😊 I’d encourage arriving in daylight your first day to get a better feel of the roads. After that first day, it didn’t scare me anymore.
It seems very secluded with trees all around which was nice.
My only complaint was we didn’t have more time to enjoy this beautiful house.
Thanks for having us!
In our 60's, the drive up the hairpin turns to the cabin were a bit unnerving! It did limit the times we left the property. The property was in a very quiet, secluded area, which was nice with the hot tub on deck, but the view is not opened up to the mountains. There is plenty of space throughout and plenty of beds, etc., but we felt that the couch both upstairs and downstairs were uncomfortable, with no place to put your feet up. I thought we would love having the pool table, but it was a little beat up and no chalk for the pool sticks. We did make it into the ping pong table and really enjoyed that. The kitchen was centrally located and workable, however someone along the way has beat up and burned their pans which makes everything stick, and the toaster just did not want to toast. But none the less, we had soft boiled eggs instead and enjoyed the cabin. The cleaning people did a good job, but left all the extra sheets and towels in the dryer. I think for a large group of people wanting to just get away and enjoy each other, this would be a great place, but be patient getting there.
We had a great time at the house. The beds were very comfortable. Our preteen boys loved playing the nintendo, pool, and ping pong. Based on other reviews, we brought our own ping pong paddles. There was also only one usable pool stick, which was fine.
My sister tried to use the bath tub upstairs, but it caused a leak to the bedroom below. I let the owners know, so hopefully that will be taken care of soon. If you have a large party, I would recommend bringing paper plates. There were only 7 plates, so we sometimes had to eat in shifts. The dishwasher was a bit wonky, so we did hand washing as well.
Also, if your group all want to sit together, just know some people will have to sit in kitchen chairs in the living areas. They had a few folding chairs which was nice as there weren't enough chairs at the table for our whole group. Also, be prepared to figure out sheets for the beds when you arrive. Most beds did not have sheets. Several sets were in the dryer.
We loved walking the circle the house was on as it had great views. Downtown Marion was super cute as well.
While there was some updating needed, we still enjoyed our stay. It is all what you make of it. The hosts were very kind and responsive.
This was a stay that went above and beyond our expectations, such an easy process from start to finish, great communication, beautiful clean and spacious we loved our trip definitely recommend and we will be back.. thanks again!!
