"It’s a nice property and has plenty of room for everyone however for what they charged, I would book somewhere else. This place was renovated by someone who has no clue what they are doing, as you can see in the pictures (and it’s everywhere in the house) I also didn’t like how it says it sleeps 30 but they charge you extra after 10 or so people. This should be clear in big writing. Almost 900 in extra charges for the 21 guests we had. "

2/10 Terrible

"I am submitting this review to warn future guests of serious safety issues and misrepresentation by the host. This reservation was for three guests, and the listing stated “parking on site,” which reasonably implied space vehicles. Check‑in instructions were supposed to be provided three days before arrival, but none were sent. After contacting VRBO, the host advised the patio door would be left unlocked with a key inside. Upon arrival, the key did not lock the door, leaving the property unsecured. The pathway had no lighting and unstable steps, and neither of the two doors could be locked from the inside. This violates basic guest safety expectations and raises concerns about compliance with minimum accommodation standards. Inside the unit, we found broken blinds with no privacy, bed in front of door, a TV with power but no functioning ports, no coffee maker or kettle, no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors, an unclean bathroom mirror, and only two towels for three guests. There was no direct contact information given for the host. After reporting the issues via VRBO and providing video evidence, the host denied responsibility and falsely claimed that five guests stayed and that we arrived with two cars without notice. Both statements are untrue; I confirmed the two vehicles with the host prior to arrival, and we have video proof showing only the three registered guests. Based on this experience I strongly advise future guests to exercise caution when looking at this place"

"I don't have anything bad to say about this place. I stayed for a weekend when I came to town for Ontario PinFest and wanted somewhere inexpensive but nice. The property is lovely with a fantastic gazebo out back that's lit in the evenings. I booked the smallest room and it is small but for just me, it was more than enough and the bed was very comfortable. This is a 130 year old converted house so there's no central air, but it had a modern window unit that worked well. Free wi-fi was provided and it's by Rogers Wireless so it's not a speed demon, but worked quite well. The bathroom is shared, but kept squeaky clean and I never had issues with the other guests in terms of scheduling the shower or whatnot. As for the breakfast, it was stellar both days. I've had breakfast at high-end restaurants that wasn't nearly this good. The owner told me that they grow most of the fresh fruit and some of their herbs and vegetables on-site and you can tell. Incredibly fresh and delicious! The second day, I had breakfast with two of the other guests and she came to chat with us as well, which was great. The town of Creemore is also lovely with lots to see and do, though I was there pretty much just for pinball. I hope to go back to PinFest in the future and I'll absolutely stay here again. Lovely place, great service, reasonably prices and some of the best breakfast anywhere. I also left my headphones there and they offered to mail them back to me. Cheers!"

"Check in was fairly easy but the beds were not queen size as advertised and actually doubles. When inquired about this as we were family of four were told there’s nothing that can be done, no cots no extra blankets. However another family we were with were given a cot after we had inquired. There was stains on the bedding we did have, the tub flooded when used the shower. The to go bags and available fruit was a nice touch. I’m glad we only stayed the one night. This hotel needs some fixing up and then it would be worth the price for the rooms."

"The house and property were extraordinary. Bird watching was a personal favourite on our group trip - the blue jays by the house were a joy to sit and watch. The property offers everything you could ask for and more. I spent a lot of time cooking in the kitchen and loved the nooks that let us hold conversations with ease across rooms to stay involved with everyone.I highly, highly recommend staying here. Beautiful property, incredibly nice and helpful hosts, bird watching, and so much more!"
