This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom corner unit has all the comforts of home and gives a cabin feel! Located in building 11, a short walk to Canyon Lodge and has secured WiFi in the unit.
Maximum Occupancy: Mountainback Unit 112 can sleep 6 comfortably!
Bed Arrangement: The master bedroom and 2nd bedroom both have King size beds and the living room has a pullout sofa bed.
Unit Amenities: The unit includes a propane fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer in the unit. The living room has a flatscreen tv, a dvd player and the 2nd bedroom has an extra tv.
This unit is a very short walk to the slopes, you'll have no problem getting there first!
There is a bbq and picnic table in the lawn area during the summer and the jacuzzi is nearby for your to enjoy.
Walking distance to Canyon Lodge and The Village perfect for skiing/snowboarding in the winter and hiking/biking in the summer!
The premises has 6 jacuzzi's and 1 swimming pool open in the summer with bbq area!

clean and light and bright 2 bedroom walking distance to canyon lodge
We loved our stay, a couple things could be improved, laundry soap and more paper goods! We used up the 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels on our first day! The spa had a lot of leaves in it, no skimmer was to be found. Also an updated fridge with an ice maker would be a great addition! We brought our own laundry soap and paper goods, but knowing they have the supplies would greatly help! My kids had a great time right behind the unit having a snowball fight. The unit was clean and the beds comfortable. The unit is in the corner of the building allowing for a lot of natural light. We loved having a fire on the last night, the fireplace was easy to use and there was a lot of wood on the balcony for our use.

Mountain back is nice and easy, walk to canyon and if your down for a little more exercise the walk to the village isn’t too bad.. the condo has plenty of space, it was just me and my 2 teens. This is the second time we’ve stayed here during the winter and it’s easy peasy.. it’s pretty dated, but that’s also the charm and reflected in the price. We’ve always enjoyed this complex and this unit and would stay again.
This property was good. I was grateful Jeff allowed early check in. The only disappointment was bathroom. The shower faucet and tub of one room were too old , toilet was very small. I think they must be impoved. Overall my family very enjoyed. Thank you!

This was a great place for our annual trip to Mammoth. Rooms and living room were bigger than we expected and was more than enough room for the 4 of us. Heaters worked great and the fireplace made for a cozy stay. The biggest plus of this rental is the location! Less than a 10 minute walk to Canyon Lodge made for an awesome experience to get to the lifts when we wanted and quick lunch trips back to the house. Keep in mind however that the walk to Canyon is a pretty good incline so it got our heart rate up for sure! Covered parking worked out great in case of any snow storms.

Unit was comfortable, well-equipped and maintained. Perfect for 2 couples, each with own bath and non-adjacent bedrooms. Underground parking was very useful since it snowed every day we were there.

Pros: close to canyon: 7-10 minute walk up a short hill. Close to blue line bus stop if you don't want to walk.
Spacious living room. We had six people and were comfortable in the living room when there.
Bedrooms were big and had own bathrooms
Cons: outdated. Like the majority of other mammoth cabins, needs to be updated. Shaggy carpet causes static electric shock all of the time.
We walked into an icicle. Suggestion to management, turn on the heater day guests are coming.
Kitchen was missing simple cooking spices and oils. I get it, bring your own and we always do but management companies should do a bit more and add essential cooking material. Oil, salt, pepper and coffee isn't that expensive and goes a long way for comfort.

Great location, nice and clean
Family had a great time. Walking distance from the lifts, liked the underground parking, really nice staff. Definitely stay there again.
