Make Discovery 4 Unit #157 your home away from home! This condo is a wonderful choice to stay in for rest and relaxation after day of venturing in Mammoth! | Max Occupancy: comfortably sleeps 6 people.

Bed Arrangement: The master bedroom has a very cozy king size bed, a Flatscreen TV with DVD player, and a private bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has a bunk bed set with full beds, a twin size roll away in the closet, as well as a Flatscreen TV, DVD, and VHS player.

Unit Amenities: This is a very nice 2 bedroom/2 bath condominium with a full-size kitchen and separate dining area that leads out to your very own private deck with a beautiful view. The deck is stacked with dry, seasoned firewood for your use in the wood stove. There is a full-size bathroom with a tub, shower, and a separate vanity area. The kitchen has granite counter tops, new cabinets, and is equipped with all the basic appliances for your comfort and convenience. The living room has a stereo, a Flatscreen TV, and a DVD player with free cable and some movie channels (check channel 40 for all listings). No step entrance, easy wheelchair access.

This unit DOES NOT offer Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi access in the Rec Room

On Site Amenities: Walk over to the recreation room and enjoy its amenities, including coin op laundry machines, a pool table, a ping pong table, video games, a soda machine, and small reading area. At the end of your day unwind in the jacuzzi or dry sauna which are open year-round. The pool is heated from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. There are gas barbecues located in the pool area all year long.

Discovery 4 property is located off Lake Mary Rd. which leads up to Mammoth’s Lake Basin and a short ½ mile to Canyon Lodge the ultimate ski and snowboard place to be!

Very spacious and quiet

Had a great trip, condo was very clean, great size for our family, 3 min drive to village, eagle & canyon are a few minutes away. Property manager was quick with responses. We will definitely stay again!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed in mid-February 2024 during a snowstorm. Overall comfortable. Beds are comfortable, shower in the master bedroom is upgraded and clean. Notable things for this property (not necessarily bad):1. No WiFi for this specific property. That is stated in the website description, but I admittedly missed seeing that during booking. Cell phone coverage is present but on the low end - WiFi hotspot is do-able for work-related stuff but not necessarily for media like Youtube or streaming services.2. Parking is not right outside of the property. Short walk uphills past one building. Consider this if traveling with many bags/luggage. If snowing, recommend wearing boots.3. Heaters in the bedrooms don't seem to contribute much. The majority of the heat appears to come from the strong heater in the living room.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been staying at Discovery 4 since the 1980's and it always brings back good memories. While I did enjoy staying at the property overall, I did not care for the unit we stayed in. It was clean but just wasn't comfortable. The weather was fairly warm when we went and the unit felt very stuffy. The windows were locked so they couldn't be opened and the patio was enclosed with plexiglass so we were unable to get any kind of breeze unless we left the front door wide open. In addition, the master bedroom mattress was extremely firm and uncomfortable so my wife and I had to sleep in the bunk beds. Aside from that, everything was ok and functioned properly.

Great Location & good space

The property was great, although it could use new bathroom rugs and wifi is a must. Otherwise it was a wonderful condo! Sadly the wood burning fireplace/stove didn't work the last day but there were enough heaters. But the dining room wall heater could be fixed as well. The Mammoth Mountain reservations staff was really helpful!
