Terrible customer service & SO DIRTY
Our initial impression when we opened the door was good, but we quickly discovered it was the terrible hosts putting lipstick on a pig as they say. The place was filthy, my feet were black after (removing my shoes at the door because I don't do shoes inside) walking around for 2 minutes, you could feel the dirt under your feet and see the filth in the corners and on every stair (there was even something disgusting spilled on one of the stairs that was not cleaned prior to our arrival). The fireplace did not work and it took us 3 days to get someone to come fix it and when they did "fix" it it immediately broke again (when the fire goes out you cannot get it back on without "jumping" it at the thermostat which we did not feel comfortable doing as the instruction book specifically declared there would be a large fine for messing with it). There was food spilled all over the fridge and freezer, even inside the ice trays and the coffee maker was clearly never cleaned. The VRBO was advertised as pet free but when we got downstairs to the bedroom there was dog hair ALL over the bed, including inside the bedding, top sheet, bottom sheet, I mean literally inside the covers it was disgusting. I used the laundry room next door to wash the bedding and mattress protector since it took them 2 days to bring us clean bedding and they never brought the mattress protector despite my numerous requests. Running out of characters so I can't go on but I recommend you stay ANYWHERE else.
