Tucked in a picturesque complex near Canyon Lodge, Mountainside 5 is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhome that comfortably accommodates 8 guests. From skiing, tubing, and ice skating in the Winter to rock climbing, hiking, swimming, and golfing in the Summer, every day of the year in this California town promises big adventure and beautiful vistas. Guests will love ending delightful days gathering with friends and family on the deck or around the fireplace.
Guests enter on the ground level beside the convenient 2-car garage.
Take the stairs up to the main level, where hardwood floors, wood-trimmed windows, and a stone façade fireplace provide cozy warmth and lodge-style charm throughout the great room. The chef of the group will delight in the kitchen’s LG appliances and open layout. When it’s time to kick back, the living space offers a plush sofa and 2 comfy club chairs beside the fireplace and mounted TV. Venture onto the furnished deck to relax or grill.
The top-floor primary bedroom is perfect for a little privacy. A washer and dryer are in the hall closet keeps athleticwear ready for the next adventure.
There’s parking for 3 vehicles total—with a 2-car garage ideal for snowy weather. For ski access, Canyon Lodge is across the street from the complex, a 3-minute walk from the unit. Additionally, guests can access Eagle Lodge and Main Lodge using the bus system.

This condo was perfect for skiing at canyon lodge. The walk is about 2 minutes door to door which was ideal after a long day on the slopes. Check in and out instructions were very clear and the property was easy to access. We arrived during a huge snow storm and the driveway access was quickly maintained. The beds were comfortable and the unit came with nice amenities. I appreciated the fragrance free laundry and dishwashing soap. My only advice was to update the cooking utensils. The pots and pans were the teflon non stick ones and there wasn’t a great assortment.
We have stayed at multiple locations in Mammoth over the years and this is no doubt one of the absolute best. The location is idea. It’s incredibly convenient both in terms of getting to/from Canyon but also the easy ability to get back mid-day if you need to. We took the gondola down to the village a couple of times which was very convenient. The townhome was well appointed - very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, good sized table for dining, good wifi for both the kids and adults, plenty of space for your ski gear and all the amenities in the kitchen. Would definitely rent again. We had a great time!!

Great location but kitchen supplies lacking
Location is perfect. Property is in decent condition….. but seriously lacking on kitchen essentials. No large frying pan, one medium sized pot, no strainer, no wine opener, minimal plates and bowls, a few tiny cookie sheets….we basically had to out our Macgyver hats on to cook food. Would have expected more at close to 2K per night.
The location of this condo couldn't be more perfect, right next to Canyon Lodge, just a short 5-minute walk away. Being so close to the slopes was incredibly convenient and made our ski trip even more enjoyable.
It offers excellent amenities, including two full ensuite bedrooms upstairs and a bedroom downstairs with 2 bunk beds that accommodated 6. The spacious two-car garage was a bonus, allowing us to unload our luggage with ease. The extra touches like soaps, shampoo, and kitchen sponges added to the overall comfort of our stay.
The condo felt spacious with its hardwood floors and modern design - it feel almost like a hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the two heating systems ensured that we stayed warm throughout our stay.
It was surprisingly clean, which contributed to a pleasant and comfortable stay. It was evident that the owners take great care in maintaining the cleanliness of the property.
The check-in and check-out process was seamless, thanks to the key pad entry system. We never had to contact the management company as everything went smoothly.
Our experience at the Mammoth condo was fantastic, and I would definitely return. The unbeatable location, combined with the cleanliness and modern design of the condo, made for a memorable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for accommodation in Mammoth. I wish more homes in Mammoth were as nice.
The location to lift access is phenomenal and we enjoyed staying here as avid skiers. It does feel more like a booked hotel as opposed to feeling like you're staying in someone's home. The amenities were a little minimal, the kitchen was missing random items like a frying pan/ sheet pan/etc. They did have radiators/ fans/ humidifers in the closets so that was appreciated. Any time I contacted the the host company with questions they were quick to respond and very helpful.
Can’t beat the location. We were able to walk to the lift and walk back if needed. No need to worry about parking and packing the car. The management team was extremely helpful before, throughout, and after. The place itself was really clean and had a lot of room. I will definitely stay here again.
We had 3 adults and 2 teens, the place is set up great with plenty of room. The proximity to Canyon lodge is truly a 4 min flat walk which is great. I have stayed at many other places close by that say that and its really 15-20 walk up a icy street which is not fun with ski boots on.

I was notified that I was going to have a new house because the one that I was supposed to arrive in wasn’t ready. Although at the begging that was bad news for us, I was glad to find out they accommodate us in a very nice place. Excellent service guys.
This property was beautiful, immaculate and spacious. We had such a lovely time. The location right across the street from Canyon lodge was perfect, too. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and hanging out on the deck in the evening, and we had a wonderful stay. The kitchen has lots of counter space and was adequately appointed, but you may want to bring coffee filters, a colander, baking sheets/casserole dish and an extra spatula or two if you are brewing coffee or doing a lot of cooking. A few extra dish towels and pot holders would also be helpful. The wifi signal was not strong but it seems that was due to the volume of people visiting the area at the time. The a/c did not seem to cool the place much either, but with windows open at night it got cool enough. The Sonos sound system was a nice touch!
The property was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located for our hiking and kayaking adventures. We’ve been vacationing with another family of 4 for the last 10 summers and this was one of our favorite condos regarding the layout and sleeping arrangements for the adults and the kids. The room with 2 twin/full bunk beds was great for the kids who are middle- and high-school aged.
