"Perfect location in San Julian. Building is getting old, but everything works fine. I had few issues with the internet but the staff was quick to bring me solutions, which I really appreciated. Be ware of some house maid who enters your room even when the "do not disturb" sign is at the door."

"Room was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a balcony room which overlooked the street and the lane opposite. We were surprised by how quiet the room was despite the fact that the street is narrow and there is traffic. Very convenient to everything in Valletta. Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options. "

"It is a great place in great location however the hotel is tired especially for a very expensive terrace room. It is stuck in a time warp and worn out - bed, chairs carpets. The staff in the bars were very slow and poor, particularly at the poolside bar. The addition of a shuttle bus up the hill is great unless 8 Americans want to pile in as well and were abbusive to us and the driver. For 400 euros a night I also expected breakfast!!"

"The room was beautifully decorated, with all the comforts we'd expect and more. The amenities at the hotel are great. Use of the gym for free was a real bonus for us and one of the main reasons for booking. It's a fantastic facility. Access to the outdoor pool at Manta was straightforward and another great bonus. However, the service at Manta leaves a lot to be desired, though I accept this is not likely anything to do with the hotel. "
