The location right in front of the sea and the facilities for both adults and children were excellent, not to mention the great hospitality, so I can confidently say that this is definitely one of the 'top' destinations for families with children!

Overall it was the best all inclusive we’ve had an opportunity to be at! Food is great, service is amazing! Special thank you to Jose the server at the Bar/restaurant, and Barbara the manager. One thing we wanted to mention that we didn’t like, was being awake by the tractor coming super early to clean the beach/sand!

Room was very spacious and the resort was very clean and buggy friendly and provided baby items such as steps, toilet seats and cots (although had to request this and you pay extra for the cot which could be included). The food was good and so was the evening entertainment. Kitchen was a bit basic, but served our needs so weren’t to fussed. Staff are friendly and accommodating!

All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, the hotel in general was very clean and tidy and all facilities well maintained. There is always plenty to do for both adults and children.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The pools were lovely, beach access very easy, and delicious and plentiful food options. Highly recommend the all-inclusive option, particularly if you plan to drink during your trip. Staff was lovely.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The food was good, better than most all inclusive buffet style restaurants but the evening food didn't seem to cart as much as you'd expect. The drinks were great, far far better than we expected. Well known brands and genuine effort being put into each cocktail. This is a very family friendly hotel, but just be aware that in may, if the weather isn't perfect then the pools are all going to be a little cold for younger children/babies. The local beach is nice, but not part of the hotel so take some shade with you as it's €15 a day for the sun loungers. Our room was ok, but I don't think it was worth the money we paid for it. With a cot in the bedroom there is barely any room to move. The fixtures and fittings are clearly in need of an update. It definitely didn't live up to the name 'superior'. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but it turns out that when you go on holiday with a baby (our first one) you spend a lot of time in the room while they sleep or nap so it was more of an issue on this holiday.

Lovely, well-maintained property in an idyllic setting with sweeping views of the pristine white sand beach and turquoise sea. It is nestled in a very quiet, rural area with a bus stop in front of the hotel. We rented a car, so I cannot comment on the frequency of buses or their routes. The basic 1 bedroom apartment is spacious and modern, with a large bathroom and shower. The bed is comfortable with a body-conforming mattress, and there are two closets with four soft quilts and additional pillows. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, and cooking and eating utensils. There is one issue that you may find problematic. The center of the property has a stage near the large pool, and there are live musical performances that are pretty loud. These end around 10 or 10:30 pm, and then the property is very quiet. Many rooms face this courtyard area, so be aware.

The location is out of the world; on a Caribbean like beach with easy access. However, the journey from the airport is too far! The facilities for children all ages is fantastic and makes this a really good family resort especially the pirate splash park The food in the Caprice Buffet restaurant is tasty with a great variety of dishes for vegetarians/vegans/special diets The staff in all areas of the hotel are an asset to this hotel, always smiling and willing to help when they can. They really now how to please their guests and add small touches to make the stay enjoyable! The only negatives of this hotel are the very cold pools. We booked this hotel as it had heated outdoor children’s pool advertised however this was not the case! The children still braved it and went to face the ice cold pool water. There was however a water technician checking he temperature but didn’t turn up the heat! It’s very hard to find hotels with heated pools abroad and often worn children it’s a requirement, maybe this should be adhered to if used as a selling point! This property lived up to its star rating of 4* plus as it excels in most areas. I almost felt like I was in Mexico with the location and hospitality. Will return again for sure!

A really nice stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We didn’t eat in the hotel but did have few drinks at the patio bar, unfortunately they were overpriced and not great quality. Slight annoyance was that the advertised free internet didn’t work. It wasn’t annoying enough for us to mention to staff but worth noting here that if you are hoping to use it that you could have problems. But overall we had a great stay!!

The resort was excellent Entertainment excellent Activities excellent, Planned activities excellent I could not fault anything. We stayed at the resort for 2 full days. We arrived late on Friday and were able to easily check in with a very nice front desk attendant. When we woke up Saturday, after a nice breakfast buffet, we decided to upgrade to all-inclusive. Barbara at the front desk was amazing. She was patient & was able to make sure we made the most of our stay. We headed to the pool & bar, where we were met with friendly staff & a great selection of drinks. We had lunch at El Patio followed by a brief walk to the beach. The beach is NOT part of the resort, but was beautiful. We had dinner at the Mexican restaurant on site, which was our favorite meal. Everything was delicious and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We again enjoyed the buffet breakfast on our 2nd day. The eggs & omelettes were being made fresh and/or to order. There were lots of options & we all found something to eat. We spent the day hiking on a local trail & sitting by the lap pool. The snacks at El Patio were tasty (Salmon Pita) & the ice creams were a nice sweet treat. The lunch & dinner buffets had a wide spread of food, with fresh deserts. Overall, our stay was super. The rooms were what one expects at a warm-location resort. There were a few hairs (not ours) on the bed & some insects/ants. The only real complaint is that our air-con unit was not functioning properly. The room was extremely warm at night and after long days in the sun, we were hoping for a bit cooler temp. We would certainly recommend it!

A wonderful family friendly hotel
So much for kids to do. The Kids Club staff were brilliant, really enthusiastic and helpful. Always something going on, for all ages from 4 to teens. Apartment was comfortable enough and spacious. Only negative for us was that they weren’t able to put a small bed in the bedroom for our daughter, which meant my husband had to sleep in the lounge on the sofa bed for the week. Beach is really accessible and seemed to be plenty of space for everyone, even though we were visiting in peak season. Buffet restaurant at the hotel was really good. We’ve been to other hotels and haven’t been very impressed, but here the choice of food and quality was really good. Two possible downsides to the location of the hotel - there are very limited shops near to the hotel, the nearest town is approx 7kms away. And there is no cash point machine nearby. The hotel offers money but for a fairly higher commission percentage.

The hotel and staff were phenomenal. The amenities and entertainment for the children were great. The only thing I wished I was informed of was that at the beach you can practice nudism, which is ok for some cultures, but for ours it is not common and it was very uncomfortable for my children. Other than that, we loved our stay.

Cala Mesquida is located next to a wonderful beach. We relaxed on the comfortable sunbeds overlooking the ocean - marvelous.

Lovely hotel, close to beach, in a quiet resort.
We spent 4 days here self catering. 2 adults and 2 kids aged 3 and 8. Lovely clean hotel, great choice of food. Resort itself very small and quiet but only a 10 mins bus ride from Cala Ratjada.

We stayed two nights Accommodation well below standard Outdated room Minimal a/con Or no a/con working Key card sometimes didn't wotk Staff were excellant and did their best to help Rooms let this place down terribly and we would never stay at this resort again

An excellent service resort to take your kids to
The resort is perfect for families with kids. The kids have amazing activities. This is not a resort you would want to visit without kids as the focus is all about the kids. Overall, and excellent resort with amazing service. We received a room which was close to the kids play area, and we were without kids, and we complained. We received an upgrade to a one bedroom which was very quiet. We loved our experience.

Super Family Friendly
Most child friendly resort we've ever visited. Great place for an easy, fun and relaxing holiday. The beach is beautiful and pools are everywhere. Upgrade to the two floor room with the hot tub and beach view, it's worth it.

Lovely relaxing holiday......I couldn't really fault it......would have preferred a room on a higher level as I was unable to make the most of the wonderful sunshine and light..... My room was a bit dark and cool for the time of year......otherwise .....very good....

Pleasant hotel
Enjoyable and convenient with kids. We had terrible weather but there was still stuff to do. Breakfast and dinner buffets were quite good, but lunch was pretty poor. Seemed as though the 'Club' resort next door had better facilities for the kids, but that wasn't an issue as it was only a 30 sec walk away!

Good family hotel
This would be a great hotel if you have small children, lots going on all over the complex for them. We didn't go all inclusive but ate at the hotel a couple of times but were disappointed with the meals in both the Italian & Mexican. We had far better meals in Cala Ratjada at a far better cost. Maid service was quite hit & miss with no clean sheets all week. On the last day she didn't come at all despite us having the sign requesting it on the door. Whilst the resort has everything you need, the pools are lovely, beach great and some excellent walks, would recommend having a car as nothing else there & some great places nearby to visit.
