"Big Blue host was very quick to answer any questions I had and was accommodating to our needs.Big Blue is an amazing holiday home for large family or group of friends. It has everything you could need whilst being away from home. The views are stunning, the house is clean and access to the pool table, games and table tennis table provided lots of entertainment."

"It was delightful to stay at this property. You have the entire ground level to yourself. The property is brand new as of 2026, and the kitchen and bathrooms really feel luxurious. The whole place was incredibly clean. There are 2 massive TVs, and there is even some toys for younger kids. We enjoyed that 1 bedroom has a block-out shutter that made child's daytime naps nice and dark. Walk to the pub, supermarket, playground and lake. Great spot!!"

"Tailem Retreat was a very clean, comfortable and modern place to stay. Every thing was easy to use and air conditioning was very efficient on the hot days we stayed there. Don't think we have stayed in a nicer place, highly recommend this rental property. AAA "

"The location of the property was fantastic, and the free use of the kayaks and stand up paddle boards was amazing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives - especially for the price paid for the stay. On arrival, we found the dishes and cutlery to be covered in old food. The fridge was greasy, and the pantry shelves needed a wipe over before we could put our food in. There were lolly and snack wrappers throughout the house, in the drawers, cupboards and on the floor of the alfresco area. One of the knobs on the outdoor oven was missing, so we were unable to use it. There was no coffee maker as listed in the amenities of the property (also shown in the photos). The only childrens game provided was an old Jenga set, and we ran out of toilet paper day 3. We also never received check in details and but I suspect that is the fault of this booking site, not the host.Overall it was a disappointing stay, despite the brilliant location."
