Malibu Creek State Park Tours and Activities

I don't like the idea of not having any staff on site, to talk to anyone you need to go to the kiosk and request to FaceTime a rep. This complicates s lot more than you'd think. We did not end up staying bettee because the first room smelled so bad a raw sewage. All the pipe water traps had gone dry and sewer gasses had filled the room. We went to the kiosk to explain the problem, but because there are no people on site we had to wait 30-45 minutes for someone to walk to the property to check it out. She confirmed the issue and they moved us to another room, however, had not been and could not be cleaned (because therebis no on-site staff) and the air conditioner in this room was legit black from lack of service and the walls had mold on them because of this (I am an HVAC contractor, so i have experience in this matter). They did refund our money but that was a battle that took like 2 hours before they agreed and another week to get our money back. Also, you have to pay for parking which we were never told until after we checked in. And getting in and out of the parking lot is very difficult due to blind traffic.

Great location, very nice accommodations. We would definitely stay there again. Within walking distance from off site parking, and multiple venues. We would have liked an in room menu and in room dining through something other than a QR code that didn't work properly (so we ordered via InstaCart instead). Other than that, we would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting L.A.
