"This is such a brilliant hotel for young families. It’s a really beautiful place with some lovely restaurants, bars & some cute additions like the gelateria & the little on-site kafenio. The staff are brilliant with kids and they’ve thought of everything you need. Malia isn’t the prettiest area, but parts of the Old Town are charming with some lovely, great value restaurants. My only criticism of this hotel how expensive the restaurant are. We chose not to go half board or all-included but I wish we had – I think it would’ve been much better value overall!"

"Our stay at Lakka was wonderful. The property is in a perfect location — peaceful and secluded, yet within walking distance of both Malia Old Town and the newer part of town. The villa itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. The owners were incredibly kind, especially towards our baby, even gifting him a toy and leaving thoughtful treats in the fridge. They had also thought of everything for families, with a baby bath, highchair, slide, floats, and other little extras that made our stay so much easier. The only minor downside was that the pool was a little on the cold side, but everything else was truly excellent. "

"Great accommodation, staff are wonderful. Breakfast was delicious! Additional food and bar drinks are pricey compared to town, not helped by poor exchange rate. Would definitely recommend, lovely walk into town. "

"Very nice place for the money you pay. 10 min walk to the main road with shops/supermarket. And 10-15 min walk to the beach. Good walk around in early morning on empty roads."
