Gem of a hotel in Malia Crete.

Manos and his staff did a wonderful job making our group feel like family and taking great care of us. Location is perfect, rooms were beautiful and they provided us with spot on travel advice about the area.

Overall great experience here. They do not have the beach, it’s mostly rocks. I should’ve done more research but the property itself was great. Good was great, room was surprisingly spacious and very clean!

Not only was this property breathtaking, Tula and the entire staff were extremely kind, helpful, and warm. The best part of our visit to Greece was our stay at the Pyrgos Blue. This hotel is a mere 10 minute walk from the city and party scene which my mom and I greatly appreciated because we didn’t want to be immersed with the spring break crowd. The rooms and common areas of the property were clean. The pool had a breathtaking and undisturbed view of the sea. The food served at the restaurant/bar on site was excellent. Everything about this hotel was divine.

Peaceful Paradise by the Sea I stayed at Pyrgos Blue with a lifelong friend in mid-June, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and spotless, with a king-size bed, an extra single bed, and a large private balcony furnished with loungers, chairs, and a table. Plenty of storage space, too. What really stood out was the view: the sea stretching out before us, waves gently rolling in, a tiny chapel on a nearby small island and citylights far away. With no adjacent balconies, it felt completely private—we even slept with the screen door open and fell asleep to the sound of the waves. No air conditioning needed; the breeze was perfect. The daily cleaning was impeccable, there was a small fridge to keep our water. The pool bar offered great options. Despite a late arrival due to a flight delay, we were warmly welcomed and even served a late-night meal. Parking was always available for our rental car, and we highly recommend visiting the village of Sissi and the nearby Minoan palace ruins. After such trips, we’d unwind by the pool or in the garden, there were always plenty of loungers and no loud music, just the soothing sound of the sea. Malia’s town center with excellent restaurants is just a short walk away. It was a perfect holiday. A couple of small suggestions: a hook near the shower would be handy, and a foldable luggage rack could make packing more comfortable. Would absolutely return

Wir hatten zu dritt (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kind 11 Jahre) ein schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick. An der Poolbar gab es einfaches, aber leckeres Frühstück für jeden Geschmack, auch den restlichen Tag wurden Speisen jederzeit frisch zubereitet. Und besonders gut haben uns die Cocktails gefallen, die von dem freundlichen Barkeeper zubereitet wurden. Der Sandstrand fängt nach 1-2 Minuten Fußweg an, direkt am Hotel ist es felsig. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!
