Gillandrea is available for overnight or weekly accomodation, set in the beautiful hinterland of Maleny.

The grand house features 6 bedrooms, 3 lounge rooms and 3 bathrooms that will accomodate up to 12 people in style.

Located on Maleny's prestigious Mountain View Rd its proximity to wedding venues, King Ludwig German Restaurant and the main street makes it a great place for a romantic weekend or family retreat.

Enjoy all the Maleny-Blackall Range has to offer.

1 hour from Brisbane, 30 minutes to the beaches of the Sunshine Coast and only minutes from the main street and its cafes, Tiffany's and Maleny Manor wedding venues

Spend the warm sunny days enjoying the local walks through Mary Cairncross Park, climbing the Glasshouse Mountains, a day at the beach or simply a game of cricket in the front yard. And then settle in for a night in front of the fire.

Enjoy the views and rolling hills 1200 feet above sea level.

If you wish to have a late check out an extra $25/hr (maximum 2 hours) will be charged. If you require a later check out than 12pm an extra days booking will be required.

What a beautiful property. Perfect setting with everything you need for a luxurious stay. Our family had a wonderful time. The property is so homely and welcoming. We hope to be back again one day.

Large, well appointed house

The house and furnishings were wonderful. It suited our family get-together well. Cleanliness was a bit average, though. The BBQ was quite filthy and there were spider webs around.

Amazing house with plenty of space, perfect for families to stay in together

We had the most amazing stay, so close the the Maleny township (just around the corner) Plenty of space, and a really nice outdoor area with large table and chairs to accomodate a family of 12. We stayed for a week at this beautiful house and have never stayed in a place where almost everything was provided. A really thoughtful place that allowed us to relax and spend quality time with the people we love. Would 100 stay here again.

Big and spacious house suitable for a large family. The house needs a good deep clean and the BBQ needs to be replaced. Two en suite bedrooms upstairs a bonus.

Very comfortable large home for winter stays.

Very comfortable premises although very hot and stuffy in summer. No airconditioning or insect screens so be prepared with plenty of insect repellent during summer months when you need to open windows. Large home with plenty of rooms. Would recommend during winter months using the fireplace.

Family get together

The property is a great size for family gatherings with lots of spaces for individuals to break away if they need to. We struggled with hot water, the house has a solar hot water system that couldn't keep up after one day of bad weather. And because the weather was cool already outside, a cold shower was not great.

Too Short!

Just perfect for our family! We arrived to have a good time in a big house but found a beautiful home and had a great time. There was plenty of everything to meet our needs in all the different areas from kitchen to laundry and in between! We loved the layout of the house, (& the chalkboard walls in bedrooms are very interesting). The views match the house…both are worth looking at! The fire place heated up the house very well. We had a couple of men that did a great job of keeping it stoked. The location was excellent for visiting the local attractions. A couple of our fellows enjoyed the local golf course despite the holiness! Thank you so much for opening yr home up for rental. We really appreciated it!

Property was not that clean and a bit run down. There were cobwebs behind doors and dead insects on kitchen counter. and BBQ was unclean upon arrival. As we washed up each night we did not use dishwasher. On last day went to put dishes in dishwasher and discovered that’s were forks etc were as it hadn’t been unstacked. Single beds uncomfortable and on wheels so rolled around l. Very spacious property, with lovely views from front, but would most likely try something different next time.

No hot water

The property is very nice and big, it is great for a big extended family stay. the hot water system is an issue, we had hot water for about 3 showers, and the remaining showers we had to have cold ones which isn't nice in winter time, it is pretty hard with small kids also. The fireplace is very nice and big. The house definitely needs a proper clean. The bbq wasnt clean. When we arrived and the oven looks like it hasn't been wiped down for a long time. The listing needs to be updated to reflect that two of the bedrooms are separated by a curtain and each bedroom have internal doors to each other. Overall it was a nice house, just needs a bit of attention. The hot water was definitely the deal breaker with the house, if that is fixed so that a backup system is installed/on, then we would come back. But wouldn't come back again if still no hot water.

Disappointed

Beautiful location & potentially great property let down by a huge number of issues most of which could be rectified with better maintenance-& others that one should really know about before booking this property, just some are-oven not working which was a known issue that we weren’t told in advance about!, solar hot water only, so no hot water until mid morning even on a sunny day, only one filthy, tiny frypan for 10 people, barbecue was disgusting & nearly unusable, only heating (8 degrees overnight) combustion fire that the fan was broken so very cold at night, listed for up to 12 people but 2 of the bedrooms had an open aperture between them so no privacy for those people, whole house needed deep clean-dirty, dusty, mouldy & cobwebs abounded, door locks broken to name just some of the issues. We feel very sad for the owner who lives in America & is not being treated well by Aussie tradies who should be helping her maintain this property in a much better light! Unfortunately we could not recommend a stay here despite its potential & fantastic location! PS-the owner did offer a refund of a small amount of compensation but not enough to make us feel good about our stay & as yet have not received same!

This is a beautiful large property that easily accommodated myself and large family. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived and the home had all the basics necessities like enough towels, shampoo, conditioner, kitchen utensils. Would gladly stay here again! The awesome views from upstairs were a lovely bonus.
