The property didn’t honour the booking by the Expedia. I was stuck with my family after a very tiring day of Umrah. I have to arrange emergency room on cash. I am waiting for the refund by the Expedia. I sincerely hope it would be done smoothly.
WENT TO THE HOTEL AND THEY SAID THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A BOOKING FOR ME. I WAS WITH MY FAMILY AND HAD PAID FOR 3 ROOMS AND WAS LEFT WITH NO HELP. THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY RECEPTION STAFF, ITS AGENTS THAT HAVE RENTED OUT FLOORS AND PRIVATELY RENT OUT THE ROOMS. I WAS TOLD THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO SO AFTER HOURS OF TRYING TO FIND HELP I HAD TO SEARCH THE AREA FOR A NEW HOTEL TO STAY AT. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!
They cancelled my room the day before my arrival and tired to put me in a different hotel further to where I wanted to stay when I refused they refused to refund me my money
Shock. For the price I paid you would never think it’s a 1* hotel. The check in was such a complex experience, as it was a third party dealing with it so you had to WhatsApp a number for them to come give you the keys. Very weird. Rooms are so dirty, sheets were dirty, no toilet paper, no towels. Bugs in the bathroom. They should not be allowed to put pictures like this to advertise a place that does not look anything like the pictures.
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent hotel booking made through Expedia. Unfortunately, my experience fell significantly below acceptable standards.
Upon arrival, we encountered several serious issues with the hotel room, including the presence of cockroaches, non-functioning air conditioning, stained bedding, and a bathroom that was both unclean and emitted an unpleasant odour. These conditions are wholly unacceptable and raise concerns about hygiene and basic maintenance.
In addition, the check-in process was problematic. The hotel initially did not recognise our Expedia booking, and we were required to contact a third-party agency to confirm the reservation. This caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Furthermore, the hotel was clearly misrepresented on Expedia’s platform. The images and description provided create a misleading impression that does not reflect the actual condition or standard of the property. I believe this warrants investigation, particularly given that the hotel appears not to properly acknowledge Expedia bookings.
As a long-standing and loyal Expedia customer, I am extremely disappointed by this experience. I had expected a reputable company such as Expedia to maintain higher standards and ensure the accuracy of its listings. The lack of accountability, particularly the refusal to offer any refund or compensation, is also deeply concerning and unacceptable.
