Amazing!

Comfortable and spacious room and the beds were great too as well as the bathroom. This hotel is walking distance to the port and very close to all the restaurants and beaches. This hotel gives 10% of their own restaurant that is a 1-2 min walk away that has delicious food! The lady was very kind only problem was when we tried to pay with card it wasn’t working with her card scanner at first I thought it was possibly my card since it was from America but I tried it at a restaurant and a couple stores and had no problems. Otherwise everything was wonderful and great location.

Quartos super confortáveis e espaços. Cama excelente, hotel bem localizado e dispoe de estacionamento. Banheiro espaçoso e limpo. Chegamos fora do horario de Check-in, mas nao tivemos dificuldades de adentrar no hotel/quarto. O inico incomveniente foi o cafe da manha, que era servido em um restaurante fora do hotel e que só iniciava o serviço as 8:30am, o que atrasou nossa partida, pois estávamos programados para retomar a viagem as 8h.

Great little hotel

Brilliant room with a slightly old fashioned although not old hotel decor vibe. Very clean room, bath and big bed. Breakfast was massive, meats, cheese, bread, pancake, yoghurt, satsumas and many condiments.

Excellent hotel and location

Beautiful city to visit. Hotel is a block from the sea / promenade and could not be better. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptional. Parking is right behind the building in a gated lot. Breakfast was delicious.

Hidden gem (literally!)

Very spacious room which was clean, quiet and comfortable. Finding the hotel, parking and check in was a challenge, check in was via the tourist office in a nearby Italian restaurant and parking was good and secure but you don’t get to it from the coast front road. No mention of any of this in the check in details so maybe they can help future customers.

Hotellet förtjänar inte fyra stjärnor. Rummet må ha varit rent och fint men låg halvt under marken - det fanns alltså ingen tillgång till dagsljus. Frukosten var så långt ifrån fyra stjärnor som det bara går. Den serverades på en pizzeria och inte hotellets egna restaurang. Det man fick var varsitt kokt ägg, två kokta korvar, lite bröd och olika pålägg (1-2 pålägg var). Inte alls en standard frukost man är van vid på ett hotell. Skulle ge den frukosten högst en stjärna.

The location is perfect. The standard of rooms were good but pretty dark and little. We had 2 rooms, the AC was not working properly in one of the rooms. Because it was around 30 degrees it was necessary that AC works. Told the staff but nothing done. Breakfast is not good. The staff who served it were not friendly either. Just one of them who was the oldest one.

Jag skulle inte boka detta igen.

Rummet låg i en källare och det luktade skumt. Det var väldigt lyhört mot grannarna och entre hallen. AC’n blåste inte riktigt kall luft så det tog tid att kyla ner rummet och det nyrenoverade badrummet som kunde varit hur fint som helst var inte helt färdigt utan lampor hängde i bara sladdar och duschen läckte över resten av badrummet.

Great room in the centre

Good room in centre of the city. Quiet position, fab bathroom huge walk in shower . Quiet and efficient Air con . Speedy WiFi, generous breakfast at local cafe . Excellent housekeeping service. Clean linen alternate days . Clean towels everyday. Next time would choose a room with a window to look out ! More coat hangers !

Makarska is a great place to visit, Villa Riva is located close to the waterfront, close to the action and great restaurants. The rooms in Villa Riva are big and very comfortable, the breakfast is very good and the service is excellent.
