"Essentially this is a room in a lovely resort on the coast of Maine. Location was excellent, amenities abound and were as described, staff was helpful and professional. But, I would not book again through this listing again. Host did not pay entire rate. I ended up paying 20% more out of pocket and spent too much of my stay trouble-shooting with the hotel receptionists/calling the host support line. Both hotel receptionists I worked with had other customers who experienced the same as me when...

"The house is a real gem tucked in a remote area with a nice dock and ready access to the beautiful lake. Also close to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but away from the crowds. Great host and communnications. "

Pastries and fruit with great coffee and conversation started our day off right! The only issue I had was on the Expedia site it shows tv, coffee, and microwave in the room. They are not, but we did nicely without them."
