"The Sand Bar Cottage is an EXCELLENT choice. It is perfectly located and a great establishment. Chris the manager is incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was 5 stars. Stay here!"

"Beautiful inn on the water. Walkable to all of Bar Harbor. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a gas fireplace, which was perfectly cozy after a chilly day of hiking and exploring BH. Wonderful hosts. Delicious breakfast too. Would definitely stay here again!"
