"The hotel was in decent shape. The guy working the front desk when we checked in had an attitude tho. Morning staff was great. But that guy at night was rude. He gave me vibes we were getting hustled when he told us we had to pay cash only for the deposit. As most hotels dont even accept cash at all. And hr absolutely refused to let us pay card for the deposit. Luckily I have a family member who is a gm for red roof so I asked her if it wad legit and it was. But the way he came off definitely thought we were getting robbed lol. Other then the experience with him everything else was good. The room was clean. And the beds were comfy. Id stay again as long as he didnt check us in."

"So thankful for the many EV chargers on site! Charge while sleeping was a big time-saver the next day. I understand the desire to have soft water, but it’s tough to feel like you got the soap washed off your hair and skin. Our shower drain was clogged so it was not only a bit disgusting to stand in soap scum while showering, but we were within a quarter of an inch from flooding out the entire bathroom. The person who checked us in wasn’t pleasant at all, not one smile or welcoming word. They also knocked on our door and called us on the phone 15 minutes before checkout."

"Bed had a smell, was mattress was lumpy and lopsided and pilllws were awful as well. "

"Two day stay; visiting the town and meeting friends who live about a hour and half north. Very clean; has been recently redone from what I can tell; but not 100% finished yet. The rooms were spacious, had a mini fridge but no microwave, the bathroom was clean, shower was excellent, but the television was not operational. There was only one person on to cover the overnight shift, so it was not addressed, but we contacted the desk again on the morning and they replaced it. The pool was small but did the job, and the fitness center was well appointed. All in all I would stay here again; was centrally located to many good restaurants, rumbleponies stadium, the college and Walmart. We went to the Cider-mill theater for a nice show; and tried some local restaurants Lazy Dog Cafe for dinner, the Relief Pitcher was was fabulous-great family friendly pub, and hit the Take a break diner for breakfast. We also attended the daffodil festival in Candor, and found great antiquing at Bostwicks in Owego. Lots to do in these adorable little towns upstate. Would definitely stay here again!"
