The Springwater Inn
8/10 Good
"Room was super clean and modern. Staff were friendly. We were 5 minutes from the Cornell Botanical Gardens/Dairy Bar. (On the more rural part of Ithaca, but 10-12 minutes from downtown by car). Breakfast was free but very basic. Two kinds of cereal, whole milk, white bread, white bagels, mini blueberry muffins. yogurt, bananas and condiments. I would definitely stay there again if we were in the area, although it would be great to have a few more options at breakfast."

"The breakfast was tasty and plentiful - bacon, sausages, French toast, eggs, yogurt and other stuff. They had a sweet goody bag for our pups. The room was clean albeit a bit dated. That said, they were actively renovating. It was a great experience and we will be back."
Quality Inn Ithaca - University Area

"We used the quality in for a one night stay while visiting a son in college. For that it was ok. They had a technical failure; the key machine was broken, so we could not get room keys, and had each time ask the receptionist to open the door, but I assume that is a unique event. But the breakfast space is much too small, I think it has only six tables, so almost everyone had to take the breakfast back to the room, and eat while sitting on the bed. This really is not comfortable. In general the hotel is understaffed. So if you are staying for one night, it is sufficient and cheap."

"It was great location, close to all. Parking was free. Staff can be a bit more friendly as we did felt ignorance at counter when checking as well as at breakfast time."
