"This hotel prides itself on its sustainable practices. Food is sourced onsite (it's a working farm and vineyard) or locally. Great location overlooking Lake Constance. An added bonus was that it is the historical home where Napoleon III grew up. Close to Konstanz, Rheinfall, and other locations. Or you can just relax and walk the paths on the property. As seems to be the case at all Swiss hotels, the staff were extremely helpful. "

"Breakfast had plentiful choices. Free local bus/train pass was great. It covered a large area. Staff very helpful. Glass bathroom door was fine for me, being a solo traveller. Around 5-7mins walk from main station and the old town. I would happily stay here again."

"- Smell of mould /cigarettes in the rooms (despite none smoking), only 2 towels laid out for 4 people, nobody on reception until the morning we checked out. Beds uncomfortable (too soft). Parking is limited. +cheap, spacious, to in both rooms, bathroom clean and good shower, key drop off/collection easy, single house hotel so no wasted electricity. Good noise insulation between rooms, porch area for coats. "

"Good size room, check in on line for personal details but could not pay, after a few tries went to the hotel door and the system worked fist time and delivered the key. Slept well but was woken early by the construction site to the rear of the property at about 7.30am. Nice small terrace off the room giving a partial view towards the lake, the hand rail on this could do with some repair as very wobbly. Overall a pleasant overnight stay although woken early "

"Wir haben lediglich eine Nacht verbracht, waren aber absolut zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und modern, mit Schick und Charme, eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist sehr zu empfehlen, da Brötchen und Marmeladen selbst und frisch hergestellt werden. Auch konnte der Besitzer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen, wenn es um die Suche nach Restaurants ging. Sollte ich noch einmal "eine" Übernachtung benötigen oder gar Urlaub am Bodensee planen, ist das Hotel, Gästehaus und die Appartements meine erste...
