"Great location in Napier centre. Friendly informative check in. Older type property but have done a good job modernising it. We had open plan balcony studio with a huge bed, lots of space and a nice little balcony to sit on. Fridge and microwave in kitchen, the room is also serviced. Enjoyed our stay at Expressotel. "

"We had 2nd floor beach view 3 day stay . Stay was pleasant room was old and needs work but we made best of the spa and view. We found Food options limited in Napier most restaurants on the Saturday night close around 8.30pm it’s no gastronomy town. Make a visit to New World and buy some snack options and nice wine and enjoy balcony and view 😳"

"Great property for sea views. Unit was spacious and clean. The accommodation is a little on the tired side. In particular, the bathroom was in real need of a total refit. Probably about 30 years since the last one. The large spa bath in the corner is so outdated - not least for its ecological unfriendliness. The shower over the bath did not have sufficient pressure, and for older guests the step up and into the spa bath could be qiute dangerous. A nice, large step-in shower is what's needed. But this did not spoil our enjoyable stay in a beautifully located motel."

"Individual hotel with a bar & restaurant plus a pub as part of the complex. Easy car parking Great location across the road from the beach & garden areas. Walkable to all shops restaurants etc. Comfortable bed. Lovely to stay in a hotel with such a history"
