The Farm at Cape Kidnappers sets the bar for excellence! Your drive in from the gate creates a great sense of anticipation and you are not disappointed upon arrival! The setting and views are breathtaking. The main lodge has beautiful architecture, furnishings, and art. It is a pleasure to just walk around with a glass of wine and take in the surroundings. Our room was also well-appointed with a large foyer, walk-in closet, and beautiful bathroom. The view from our bed was of the entire Hawke's Bay. Every meal was farm to table and delicious. The staff was helpful, attentive, and gracious. We did not golf but the course is beautiful and ranked #16 in the world! They had so many activities, it was hard to choose! I highly recommend the Kiwi Discovery Walk. We actually found the rare bird and held it! Other wonderful options include property hikes (over 6000 acres!), mountain biking, wine tours, and relaxing spa treatments. The Farm at Cape Kidnappers is not to be missed on a trip to New Zealand!
