"Cooks Bay Resort was spectacular. Our family of 5 stayed 8 nights in early April and we had the best time. So new, clean, great service! The snorkeling in front of the hotel is wonderful, we saw a black tipped reef shark, sea turtle, octopus, eel, and just about every color fish imaginable. My kids used the hotel’s snorkel equipment every day. We loved the pool and comfortable cabanas (free). Le Cook is a really beautiful restaurant, we had dinner there 3 times, lunch twice, breakfast only once....

"The hotel has bungalows and the restaurant is on the water. It is located directly on the beach in a very nice bay. The restaurant is very good but breakfast is too expensive for the food offered. You need a car to reach it from the airport or the harbor, and to move around the island. No public transportation and taxis are quite expensive."

"This is my second visit to this idyllic spot in Moorea. A family run group of budget rustic cottages on the lagoon next door to the Hilton. The onsite restaurant serves very high quality food and a simple breakfast is included. The hotel sits oceanfront on a beautiful area of the lagoon with rays, sharks and fish cruising by all day. Air conditioned rooms which is rare in Tahiti and kayaks included, good for family on a budget. "

"Absolutely stunning. It is rare to find a place that is better than the pictures, but this is! Friendly, helpful staff throughout our stay. The grounds and view of the ocean are beyond words. Breakfast brought to your room including fresh tropical fruit selection is a perfect way to start the day. The steady rhythm of the waves on the edge of the barrier reef lulls you to sleep. "This is a smal, intimate , boutique hotel. Rooms are smashed but we had a bungalow facing the beach. Gorgeous! Other bungalows face the garden and actually are much cheaper but just as nice. "We had a wonderful stay at Moorea Beach Hotel. Facilities clean and tidy and the communal kitchen was much better than I expected. Each unit has a mini fridge but you also get a lockable fridge in the kitchen. I’ve maker, filtered water, kayaks and bicycles all free! Individual, private, chalets within 50m of the water with manta rays and reef sharks visible. Safe to snorkel and the water is beautiful, outdoor shower is lovely to refresh and the air conditioner in each room was a godsend! "
