The property is very nice and quiet. The hot water heater needs to be turned up the shower was luke warm .

Great stay and will be back! Only negative is our door needed updating as you could see daylight as it could not seal completely. It was an excellent place and very cozy in a great location! Again we will be back!

We stayed in a cabin for a ski trip. The kids enjoyed it a lot. It is clean, cozy and comfortable. I also like the communication with the owner, easy and very responsive. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Super cute place to stay for a weekend with a small family. It is really close to Cataloochee and there is plenty of shopping around. It was perfect for 3 of us to stay while we were skiing. The only thing I can say is the water heater is way too small. We all had to take cold showers.

Thank you for staying with us...The Hot Water usually last about 15 minutes or so (then it will refill), you have to space out the showers if you can. We continue to look at options, but we just haven't found the right solution yet. Come back and try one of the luxury yurts...they have residential hot water tanks :)Safe TravelsMVCR

It was a different and unique experience staying in a yurt. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. One suggestion, leave coffee filters for guests. Yurts are a wonderful option, they were cute.

Stayed in one of the yurts and it was wonderful! Beautiful property and mountain views. The yurt was quite comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved it! We even saw a family of elk come through.

The only suggestion I would have is maybe you get to check in earlier it's really bad to check in at 3:00 you have to hang around and try to find something to do if you arrive early in the day. then have to leave by 11:00 if you are out and having fun you're probably not going to be awake much earlier than that. Other than that the stay was actually very nice.

Although the cabin was well kept, I did not appreciate the thermostat being locked at 70 degrees with a sign saying if you changed it, it would shut down the system. I paid pretty good money for the cabin, and that should come with setting the temperature to what is comfortable for me, not to save them money. . Plus, the TV was set in French including the instructions on the TV. We called the manager to help, but she did not return out call.

You are more than welcome to adjust it to suit your individual needs, and we want you to...but just like your thermostat at home, if you keep playing with it then it will freeze up for about 30 minutes. We are just trying to save you from yourself (it has nothing to do with money) :)As for the TV...that didn't just happen without someone pressing the wrong button, and I'm sorry that we didn't respond to your after hours call...there are 3 TV's in that cabin for you to enjoy!Safe TravelsMVCR

Highly recommend a Cabin !
The Inn-Keeper was so attentive and quick to answer my call & multiple texts. I really appreciated that. The Cabin was quaint, neat, clean and inviting. It was on a private road, so no road traffic noise. We enjoyed the sound of the babbling Brook, the crickets chirping and the frog’s melody. A wonderful mountain get away place ! Close to The Smokey Mountains Nat’l Park entrance.

Our one night stay was wonderful until we realized late at night we had no hot water and there was no one available to assist with the concern, therefore no hot showers before a long drive home. The cabin has worn floors but is cozy. The beds were comfortable and the couch and recliner made you feel at home. Great area close to everything but away enough to be tucked away for a quiet night. My own complaint is the rudeness of the responses by the staff replying to messages via Orbitz. The individual who texts back and forth is very cordial and was apologetic for our inconvenience.

Love, love, love this property! The views were amazing! One morning we woke up to elk bugling and the next we heard a bear! We will definitely be staying again when we are in the area! This was our favorite part of vacation by far!

We attend the hillbilly jams in Valley. This was super convenient and so private and peaceful to get away from it all and relax when not visiting with friends. Very quiet and everything was quite satisfactory!

We loved the cabin and the amenities. Kids loved the upstairs attic. Sitting on the deck listening to the creek with a hot chocolate on a cold day made it worth the trip. The stars were very bright on a cloudless night. Saw a lot more stars on the sky than what we see in miami. The heater was little loud and bathroom is small but is expected in a small cabin.

While we understand that you were disappointed with freezing pipes during the once in a generation cold snap that much of the country experienced last week...we do not think you realize that there was absolutely nothing we could do about it! We had power, and heat, we provided you with bottled water, and jugs of water to make the best of an out of our control situation...we are so sorry that was not good enough for you. We also offered you 2 free nights for the inconvenience, but anything short of a cash refund on the spot was unacceptable to you...please know that those free nights are now off the table!Safe Travels, and Happy New Year
