Inn at Santa Fe, SureStay Collection by Best Western
6/10 Okay
"We have stayed here many times when our business or event is on the south side of Santa Fe. This time the pool and hot tub was closed. There were two busses that took up multiple parking spaces and we had no where to park. Although there was a small sign on the desk that said there was no parking at the adjacent mall , the front desk did not tell us that the mall would tow our vehicle. No other parking arrangement or suggestions were made to us. We and 5 others were towed from the adjacent mall parking lot, costing us $450 and forced us to cancel our business meeting. Total losses exceeded $1000.00. Will never set foot on that mall property and probably will stay there again!"
"There were so many things about this hotel that were kind of annoying. First of all, it’s not a “hotel”, it’s a motel. There was no elevator and we had to lug all of our stuff to the second floor. Then when we were tired from traveling and got to the restaurant 10 minutes before the kitchen closed, we were seated but the waitress rushed so much that she didn’t give us straws or napkins. At our room, the hot water didn’t work. To be fair, maintenance came pretty fast, but that was annoying. There was a pool but it was very small and in the parking lot (so not too enticing). I feel like the advertising was better than the property and would not stay here again."
"I booked there for its "pet-friendly" policy, however at the desk the woman stated that there would be a $40 pet fee for each dog, $80 total extra on top of the price for the room, for a room in a hotel that is shady-looking, run down, and smells bad. Completely outrageous and horrible."
"The water pressure was hit or miss, and the tub drain was slow. Aside from these problems, our stay was nice. The cleaning staff went above and beyond with daily service without even asking for it."
"STAFF NOT TO FRIENDLY BUT NOT BAD. THE ROON WE GOT WAS ON THE 2ND FLOOR IT WAS A SUITE. FIRST IMPRESSION OF ROOM WAS NICE AND CLEAN. AC WORRKED REALLY GOOD . BEDS ARE VERY HIGH BUT COMFORTABLE.
