Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Madalena?
The best time to visit Madalena, Mé, São Tomé and Príncipe, is during the dry season, which runs from June to September.

During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for exploring the island's natural beauty, from its pristine beaches to its lush rainforests. The drier conditions are superb for hiking, wildlife spotting, and enjoying the coastal areas without interruption.

This period is particularly good for those looking to enjoy outdoor activities and water sports. The calmer seas and clear skies provide excellent conditions for diving, snorkelling, and boat trips to nearby islets.
