Very pleasant hotel

We had a very pleasant stay! The room was comfortable, the breakfast was great and the all around atmosphere of the place was nice. Beautiful views from the balcony of the room, and while having breakfast next to the ocean.

5-stjerners hotell som ikke tar kredittkort

Opphold på dette hotellet krever kontanter. Hotellet har en minibank hvor man ta ut penger med Visa, men usikker om dette gjelder kun Sao Tomeisk Visa. Mastercard var uansett umulig å bruke på denne øya på de som reklamerte at de aksepterte dette, på grunn av våre totalt 5 ulike MC var det "feil" med. Selve hotellet var relativt slitent med oppussingsbehov. Selv reklamerer hotellet seg som et 5-stjerners hotell, mens det i virkeligheten er et 3-stjerners hotell. Kun prisen som var 5-stjerners (med andre ord altfor dyrt her). Ok mat, men ikke i nærheten av å ha et 5-stjerners kjøkken. Serviceinnstilte medarbeidere, men altfor mange hadde manglende engelsk kunnskaper. Godt aircondition både på rommet og i fellesområder. Vi bestilte Junior Suite, men dette var bare et vanlig rom med en ekstra gang der det var en liten sofa. Helt greie fasiliteter, men som sagt er det behov for oppussing av hotellet. Alt i alt en skuffende opplevelse på et selverklært 5-stjerners hotell som ikke en gang tar Mastercard!

Atendimento confuso. Foi agendado transfer do aeroporto, mas o hotel se confundiu com os voos e não nos buscou até que um funcionário do aeroporto conseguiu falar com eles. Serviço de bar também confuso, mas o hotel tem boa estrutura e é muito central.

Not a five star hotel!

- No sand beach - only rocks - but yes, a pool. - Renovation is needed. - Very expensive. - ‘Junior suite’ is a joke - an extra small room with a sofa - no window. - Nobody speak (or understand) simple English. - We booked ‘with view over the sea’. Ha - behind all the palm trees!! - Sunny and warm climate - that’s why we came for (good for the extremely poor Sao Tome people).
