The shuttle was punctual but the van could have been better marked to make it easier to find at the airport. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the general condition of the hotel was very poor - the carpets and hallways were what one would expect to find in some flophouse and the towels were threadbare. Other than that, it was a good budget hotel.

I booked a twin room for one night and while the room itself was a bit tired and a lamp had no bulb, I felt it was cleaned well, and a air conditioner worked very very well it was a warm night so thanks for that! I had a 2pm train next day so the checkout time 12pm was a treat, overall it served my purpose perfectly, thanks a lot for this.

My second stay during this trip in Lyon, I had a double room and the room was very well cleaned like the previous night but an air conditioner seemed broken ( I didn’t need it after all though ) and the room was close to a lift so was noisier than before. Some of front staff speak good English so it was easy to communicate. The shower is with bathtub and plenty of hot water but no amenities so bring your own shampoo if you need it.

Twice emailed hotel to reserve a table for dinner on Saturday night, prior to my arrival. Never got the courtesy of a reply and upon arrival told restaurant closed at weekend's. Breakfast was poor and a waste of money. At 8.30am no meat or cheese available, had to ask. Toaster, but no bread to toast. Bowl for fruit or cereal was the size of a bowl for a baby. Breakfast selection was poor. Carpets in corridors on first floor filthy. I could go on but no point, nothing will change. Would recommend the Ibis opposite. Excellent meal.

Shuttle only runs at certain hours

Serviceable. Shuttle took us from the airport to the hotel, which was great. Shuttle only available at certain times of day, stops at 8:40 am, which was a couple of hours before our flight. The whole reason I booked this hotel was for the shuttle service, so that was irritating. 20 minute flat walk to airport well marked, but I would have liked to avoid it.

It’s an extremely no frills hotel. But if you just need a night by the airport it’s inexpensive and very convenient. The staff were nice and there was a free shuttle for our early morning flight.

The hotel is a bit tired and dated, however I got a hot shower and a clean bed. That’s all I needed. The staff are friendly, and spoke some English. Food was decent.

We only stayed there because we had an early flight the next morning and wanted to stay near the airport. Hotel is in need of major renovation. Shuttle service was convenient. I would try another hotel next time.

It’s fine for an overnight stay close to Lyon airport. Bathrooms could have used a good scrub. There was mold on the ceiling in the dining room. Free shuttle to the airport. We had dinner there and it was delicious

The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. The carpeting in the hallways was very dirty and needs to be replaced . The hotel could very much stand a renovation upgrade . The staff were wonderful and very helpful and polite especially with our very very limited French .

The Comfort is fairly close to the airport (a long 1/2 mile), and relatively inexpensive. But you get what you pay for....and so the hotel is pretty worn, some area could use serious renovations, and the overall ambiance is that of a cheaper hotel. Also...the shuttle service is very limited.

Back to the 60s

Cheap and cheerful airport hotel. It's like a 1960s motel, that sort of comfort level. Staff are very helpful and shuttle is excellent, though you have to pre-book. Rooms are a bit naff. The bathroom door handle kept falling off and the light system is confusing.

Reception at entry was very welcoming, and facility was overall older but clean. The location was also very convenient to the airport and a good low price. Overall, the only shortcoming was a couple hairs still stuck to the sheet. Perhaps try using a different laundering company.

Old, worn down, cracked tiles and panels in bath, below average breakfast, not particularly clean, broken chair in room, one outlet broken. But... great service and polite staff, pretty good lunch, worked really well with shuttles to airport.

This hotel is close to Lyon airport with a great walking path to Terminal 1. It also has a good shuttle service. We used both. The lobby and restaurant areas looked fine. We did not try the food. We were given 2 vouchers for a hot beverage which we used in the morning. Staff were friendly. The hallway carpet on our floor (2) was heavily soiled to the point of being off putting. It smelled like it had been cleaned, so that was good. The room, and bed sheets were in good shape. Only one pillow per person, a negative for me. The bathroom was in okay shape with the exception of the stand around the sink area. It was deteriorated fiber board.

I found the staff pleasant and helpful with their service. The carpets in the stairways were filthy and worn out. The room was clean which I appreciated. The bath tub was too high to get in and out of safely without slipping or falling. The building has not been maintained as though it is going to close soon. I appreciated it was close to the airport and the driver was very nice. I thought with a hotel so close to the airport that the facility and experience would be more positive.
