"Unique property, the owners and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the quieter side of Luxor after busy sight seeing days. Boat is complimentary and easy to access to get to the other side. No alcohol but other local bars available if you want to nip out."

"Perfect location to get picked up on your Nile cruise, or even to stay for a few nights, it’s that great here. Pool was amazing, staff was super helpful and nice. Great view of the Nile from our room and from the pool. Go to the Egyptian/international restaurant over the Italian restaurant."

"Great hotel for a stay in Luxor. Easy access to the public ferry lets you stay in the quieter West Bank but still be minutes away from the temples on the East Bank. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location with an amazing view of the Nile from the breakfast balcony."

"Wonderful service - kind and friendly staff. Great breakfast and pool area.
BUT - the rooms really need an update. We had issues - some fixable, which indeed were fixed immediatly by staff that was kind and understanding."

Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel.
We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time.
Laundry service was available and great price.
Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs.
It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back...

The royal mountain hotel is managed by a lovely gentleman. He made our stay feel safe and comfortable. The room we had was very spacious for our family of 5. The pool is nice and refreshing after a long day. The hotel is located in the west bank so close to the valley of the kings and the Hatsheput temple. This place felt like home and we loved our stay here. There is not many restaurants near the hotel but with a bit of notice the manager can organise food served at the terrace. Thanks Khudri...

A great hotel, tucked away from Luxor centre but very close to west bank sites.
Relaxing and enjoyable. Good facilities. Massages at the spa were passable and certainly not the best we have had, so there's room for improvement there.
What stood out was their ability to taylor private sites visits with their driver and the availability of a really good guide, Mr Omar, and that in itself made our stay even better. The food options at the property are ok, not vast, but of really good quality...

Beutiful hotel located on the pieceful West Back of Luxor. This property has the best views of the East and West banks of Luxor.
The staff are welcoming and very helpful, offering sunset Felucca rides, and transportation if needed.
The meals here are amazing.
The best breakfast I have had anywhere in my travels by far.
I would highly recommended staying here.

Surprisingly clean though bldg shows signs of aging. While it's far, this works out as your perfect point if your focus is exploring lesser known West Banks tomb but more enchanting like Habu Temple, Medina and Valley of Queens.breakfast, price and customer service are all top notch too

Absolutely beautiful & plentiful facilities such as garden, pool, restaurants, boat bar, very helpful & friendly staff. We wanted to stay longer & even tried changing our flights to no avail.
I would definitely recommend any going to luxor to stay here - you will not be disappointed. Good process for food and beverages for a hotel. Great experience.

The temples, historic landmarks and sightseeing are just some of the things to enjoy while you're in the area. Luxor Market, Luxor Temple and Luxor Museum are some of the local sights worth visiting. While you're here, you might also like to explore more of the area and take in additional sights like Karnak, Medinet Habu and Deir el-Medina.
