Simply one of the best properties that I have stayed in for some time. The design and aesthetic are fantastic, the food was delicious and above all, the staff were incredibly kind, warm and welcoming, making the place feel truly like home.
This was one of the most beautiful hotels and grounds I’ve ever seen. Featured in countless magazines - you won’t be disappointed staying here. We ate at both restaurants within the hotel and each were equally amazing. I can’t wait to stay here again!
Staying at al Moudira Hotel was the best memory in Egypt. All of the staffs were very nice and considerate and the venue was amazing!

The property was outstanding! Very tranquil and lush. We enjoyed exploring every bit of the property. The hotel staff were all attentive and respectful. The hotel arranged a local guide, named Hamatto who was just excellent. He is an Egyptologist and gave us so much back story of ancient Egypt. We loved our tours with him!
A great hotel, tucked away from Luxor centre but very close to west bank sites.
Relaxing and enjoyable. Good facilities. Massages at the spa were passable and certainly not the best we have had, so there's room for improvement there.
What stood out was their ability to taylor private sites visits with their driver and the availability of a really good guide, Mr Omar, and that in itself made our stay even better. The food options at the property are ok, not vast, but of really good quality especially when compared to other 5 star luxury establishments we stayed at in Egypt: the use of authentic and genuine locally farmed ingredients made a big difference.
This was a magnificent hotel. Tucked out of the way in the quiet rural part of the West Bank.
The staff were super sweet and attentive and nothing was too much to ask.
The room was gorgeous with heaps of character, you felt every bit of furniture had a story to tell.
The food was the best we ate on our 2 week trip of Egypt, high quality and classy yet not ridiculously expensive.
I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!
The staff were lovely. Hotel is charming. It’s rather far from most attention but we didn’t mind as it’s a little treasure. The room was tastefully decorated. However, the air conditioning was very noisy and directly facing the bed. Which made one feel you were hit by a hurricane.
A true gem of beauty ! Nothing compares to the design, food, marble clear blue pool, warm service. It’s a gift for the world created by the founder and visionary Zhena.
Al Moudira Hotel was the absolute highlight of my trip. I originally booked two nights and ended up staying six, which really says everything.
The staff was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the entire property feels like an oasis. The food was excellent, and breakfast offered a huge variety of fresh products sourced directly from their own farm on the property.
Al Moudira was a stark contrast to every other place I stayed in Egypt, including prestigious five-star hotels. It’s simply not comparable. Where other hotels felt busy or impersonal, this place offered pure relaxation and authenticity.
This is the only way I want to experience Egypt going forward. I will absolutely be back.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The setting was like an oriental palace in a dream-like mirage but very real, with stunning rooms, glorious food and the most wonderful staff, not to mention the farm with the animals and the workshops. Not just a hotel but a destination, an oasis!
