"I had a great stay at Sonsolea. The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The property is conveniently located just two blocks from the beach, making access very easy. A nearby plaza offers several restaurants and a surf bar, which was a nice bonus. Parking can be a bit challenging at times, but Sonsolea provides an alternative option that makes it much more manageable. The host was very responsive and communicated all instructions clearly. Overall, it was a wonderful stay."

"The staff is friendly, the first room I got had a bad smell, it’s a pet friendly hotel but they should really split them, like they would the smoking and non-smoking rooms. I asked for a different room and thankfully they were able to accomodate me. They answered all my questions and concerns. Again, all staff were nice and helpful."

"I highly recommend staying at this place if you would like to submerge yourself in the sounds of the jungle! The bedroom I rented was petite, but was efficiently built and thought out to make the most out of the space. It had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the forest. The bed was comfortable and the room had a mini fridge. The pool and lounging areas were neat and comfortable. The breakfast room featured a self-serve breakfast and snacks throughout the day, which was convenient, but if you are looking for a nutritious and delicious breakfast you will need to eat out. The staff was prompt with their responses when I contacted them through WhatsApp. Even their welcome message thoroughly had all the information we needed to access the property."

His personality makes you feel at home our morning conversations were refreshing. He's a great cook as well! Our casita was perfect! The rainforest was out one door and the ocean view out the next. "I really enjoyed my first hostel stay. The staff was helpful and everything was always very clean. I enjoyed the beaches nearby and the city center. If you want Mexican I recommend Lolita's. I would suggest more mirrors in the bedroom for hair/makeup prep. Also maybe more signage when you come in the neighborhood and lighting in the parking area it can get dark at night."
