"The check-in process was a little stressful. We arrived a few minutes before the 5 PM check-in time and the owner was nowhere to be found. I called a couple of times with no response before we finally found her out and about doing chores. We were able to get her attention to be let into the property. The main living area is available for guest use but has a heavy odor of cats. The rented room and bathroom are clean and the odor is much more tolerable. "This was the first time we had stayed at a Microtel Inn. The online pictures of the rooms and lobby looked great. Unfortunately, the room was outdated with an extremely old worn carpet. The bathroom floor was sticky. Additionally, there were not enough electrical outlets for today's electronics and the electrical outlets in the room were in the worst possible locations for anyone to utilize in a comfortable way. There were no outlets or usb ports near the head of the bed or on the bed side...

"Overall, I thought my stay was very good. The first room I was in - the toilet wouldn't flush, but the staff didn't waste any time moving me to another room. However, the carpet was very dirty. I actually threw away the socks that I used to walk on the carpet. The carpet looks visibly old, or maybe could use a deep cleaning."

"I think for it to be a brand new hotel they had some things down like the ice machine on my floor and the pool was not heated as advertised. I also had to make several complaints on kids jumping in room above so the walls were very thin and you can hear everything so for that reason I would never stay at this location."
