"This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The afternoon front desk staff were AMAZING!!! Deborah was on her first week there and we friendly and helpful. You go girl!! Keep being amazing. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and helpful. We only encountered 1 staff member that wasn't so friendly and that was the morning of check out. The ice cream for purchase between 6-9pm was very good. I had the blueberry 1 night and huckleberry 2 other nights. My husband really enjoyed the mint chocolate chip. Now on to breakfast, of course it was great also. Lots of choices and always fresh and hot. The Pike's Landing restaurant on the grounds was the best food we had our whole trip. Grace was an OUTSTANDING waitress. good recommendations and very friendly. We will definitely be staying at this hotel the next time we are in Fairbank."

"Everything was perfect! Snowed a day before we arrived and it snowed our last day there. It was beautiful to watch from our igloo. We saw the northern lights first night we were there and they were so worth the trip!"

"We absolutely loved it..it was quiet..peaceful..and we loved Kevin the caretaker. He kept it spotless inside. Kept snow and ice off entry way. The rooms are large the common area is huge with an unbelievable view. We plan on returning next year. Thank you for the experience"

"We stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing! When researching this was the only place that would provide wake up calls to see the aurora. We lucked out and saw them 2/3 nights all from the comfort of the lodge. It was cozy place, breakfast was delish and Janet and Fred were the perfect hosts. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality."
