Top Louisville Hotel Reviews

Omni Louisville Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great staff"

Holiday Inn Louisville Downtown by IHG

8/10 Good

"The place was understaffed to the point of not functioning. The staff that was there were great, but they were all working like 12 hour days. We'd see the same staff at night as we saw in the morning. Parking was expensive or otherwise non-existent. But it was one of the most inexpensive hotels in the downtown area. We were six blocks south of Main Street, which is where the distilleries are and things like the Louisville Slugger factory and store. Six blocks sound easy in the morning, but after a whole day it was Ubers back. Breakfast was great. It was optional, but it was cooked to order from a small but good menu."

Embassy Suites Louisville Downtown

10/10 Excellent

"Leading up to the trip communication was amazing. I thought the staff at the desk was pleasant & helpful. And the hotel is beautiful & clean. Our only complaint was the shuttle. We followed the information provided for using it & were told upon arrival at the airport that we would need to wait as the driver had to leave due to “a pilot pick up”. We didn’t understand but at that point we waited an additional 45 minutes to get transportation back to the hotel. At the end of our stay we checked at the desk & again at the transportation station to assure our return to the airport would be on time. We planned for additional time to be able to allow for any delays & checked in at the transportation station at 1:45pm for the 2:05pm shuttle- after numerous conversations with staff & waiting for “the pilots” we were told “the pilots are the priority.” We finally left for the airport at 2:45 but had to go to UPS first. We made our flight but it took a hussle to do so. While we understand business & partnerships- maybe it would be better to not provide an hourly scheduled shuttle service. We booked specifically because this hotel offered that amenity. If it’s not available, just don’t offer it to customers. And you certainly shouldn’t tell your customers that they are not your priority."
