"Everything about this hotel was amazing. We had everything to our comfort and the staff, especially Ema who went above and beyond for us, was always smiling and friendly and willing to help. We had the family suite which was very clean. We couldn’t be anymore pleased. The property is located in walking distance of many restaurants. The rooftop lounge is a good place to dine and party also"

"Beautiful hotel, but severe safety hazard and lack of support after injury. I recently stayed at La Quinta by Wyndham in Medellín. The hotel itself is very nice, clean, and has great potential. However, my stay was completely overshadowed by a serious safety hazard and a stressful medical emergency. The shower floors in the rooms are incredibly slippery. Unfortunately, I had a bad slip-and-fall accident during my stay due to this lack of traction. When I notified the hotel management, I was deeply disappointed by their response. They did not offer any compensation, a room upgrade, or anything similar, they only sent me a little box of chocolates to my room as a gesture of apology for what happened. Furthermore, the staff directed me to a local hospital for medical evaluation. The facility they sent me to felt highly unsafe, which added a massive amount of stress to an already painful situation. While the property is physically attractive, the management desperately needs to install non-slip mats in the showers and retrain their staff on how to safely and empathetically handle guest emergencies. Proceed with caution if you stay here."
