Overall it was a very nice stay, wish we stayed longer. Can’t wait to go back. The area felt very like neighborhoody and not overrun with homeless (like some other beach areas in LA)

The property is lovely. Very clean and comfortable . So close to the beach and stunning views. Matt was easy to communicate with. Close to restaurants . A bit of a walk to the Main Street but we enjoyed that . It’s very quiet. The two bicycles were great to have . Also beach chairs. We were very happy with our stay . Thank you Matt

Great stay
Had a grand time staying at this location. Great location, beach just a couple minutes away - although the hill is a bit steep to get down and back up for those with ambulatory issues. Wonderful hearing the waves crash throughout the day and night. Matte was a joy to work with.

Loved this condo. Matt was very responsive. When our son and GF needed to join us, there was plenty of room. Nice accommodations, well-supplied with cooking tools. Easy walking to local restaurants. Wish weather was better but still enjoyed. Only mild issue, didn’t realize it was up many stairs. Even though we’re older was a non problem expert when moving in and out.

Hands down - best spot to stay in Manhattan Beach
Seriously could not have asked for a better place to stay in Manhattan Beach. The view, the quick walk to the beach, and being able to listen to the waves while falling asleep were all so wonderful. I only hope to stay here again! Don't make the same mistake I did and only book one night - it is not enough to take in all that this property has to offer! The host was incredibly accommodating and lovely. Can't wait for another excuse to get back here!

Memorable Memorial Day Weekend
The condo was perfect for me, my husband and our 15 year old grandson, especially the second bathroom! The view is really nice, short but steep walk to the beach and within a mile of several restaurants. Owner was very pleasant and helpful and I would definitely stay here again.

Cute and super clean apartment. Best of both worlds. Conveniently located - close to but not to close to LA and a block from the beach. We really enjoyed the beach town. Restaurants, shops and markets close by. Would stay again.

Love this place!
Everything was great! Location, ease of check in, communication with host, parking, walk to beach (with a surfboard provided by host!), close to airport. An awesome trip was had by all (including my teenage boys:) We will return!

Beautiful Area!
Manhattan Beach is a beautiful town! So much to offer! Restaurants, activities, beach!! This condo is on the farthest northern end. If you don’t have a car-you may be using Uber. We walked a lot too! There were no washcloths! We found that odd. Not a dealbreaker but washcloths are a must! A couple of mornings it got cold. Thermostat was broken. (No heat or A/C) Reached out to Matt via VRBO. No response. Previously, he was VERY Responsive. He was quick to answer all my questions prior to trip and tried to get us in early. The condo itself was cozy. Beds were comfy! The view was outstanding! Watched the surfers in the morning! Sunsets were stunning!

“Practically perfect in every way”
That’s a ‘Mary Poppins’ reference on my title! Excellent communication with owner, great location as far as access to beach and 180 views from small balcony and living space. When I booked I was concerned I wasn’t closer to the heart of Manhattan Beach, but in the end it really didn’t matter at all and I kind of preferred being in El Porto because it’s less busy here, plus I enjoyed watching all the surfers. Nice, laid back area and relaxing stay. Place is clean and updated, well stocked (although it could use some washcloths and perhaps a few more bath towels and beach towels), 2 bikes worked well, washer worked well. Rode bikes all the way to Redondo and back for fun. Bikes have locks so you can stop wherever you like. There were 4 beach chairs (plus umbrellas). If you want to be within a short walk to all the shops and restaurants of Manhattan Beach, this isn’t the place for you, but if you’re ok with a short drive there (or bike ride), this is a good place to be. Personally, I had no need to go into “town” more than once or twice for my 5 day stay, as I was doing lots of other things instead. Enjoyed my stay in this apt— highly recommended!!

Cold and Rainy Christmas in Cali 2021
The location is magnificent! Steps to beach and 180 view of ocean. Unfortunately, our stay included rain and colder than expected weather, so we didn't get to enjoy the beach as much as we wanted; otherwise, we wouldn't have noticed the "coziness" of the living space LOL (pictures online make space appear larger) and especially the patio - barely 2 people can fit. Wanted to leave windows open and listen to ocean sounds (bc you're that close), but Highland Avenue is just behind the property and quite a busy thoroughfare which made for street noise. Would recommend this place and go back in warm sunny season! Manhattan Beach was beautiful and private and seemed very safe. Very good communication with owner. Thank you Matt. We picked this property specifically due to its proximity to a friend's home, as well as the area. El Porto is great, and you are truly steps away from the beach. Nice food and coffee spots are just a short walk away, and downtown MB is a nice 20-minute stroll down the strand. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful location steps from the beach
Property was very clean with everything needed to feel at home. We used the bikes and the beach toys. This is prome location just a block from the beach. Beach was quiet and perfect for our family. Theres a surf shop just a block away where we rented wetsuits. Perfect fit for us.

Great location close to LAX and to many great local restaurants and shopping. Can watch the surfers and the sunset right from the condo balcony. Matt is a great host, makes himself available for any questions or issues. Would definitely stay again!

Nice place with a great view Not a very restful vacation. Spotted a mouse running around on the 3rd day. Hard to sleep with this kind of visitor plus had to secure all of the food and was worried about cleanliness after that Reported issue to property manager with no acceptable resolution.

Having a perfect 5-star rating made me a target for people who threaten bad reviews as a way to extort money from the hosts. That was the case here. There was no mouse, he just wanted money. I will never pay a guest not to leave a negative review. I do promise however, to always do my best to resolve any issue they may encounter during their stay.

Amazing place in N Manhattan Beach!
Amazing location. Great view. Would totally stay there again. Place could use a list of laminated instructions for things like WiFi and garage. No live tv for sports. FireStick has a pin # that we couldn’t get to reset soundbar connection. Overall, super dope spot.

My 2 sisters, nephew and I enjoyed the location near Manhattan Beach. Plenty of room, rental had everything we needed. We were able to walk to the beach daily, and found restaurants and shopping nearby. Beautiful area, will consider for future visits.
