Convenient Location

My only quarrel would be the separate app I had to download in order to check in and such. I'm not sure if that is typical of VRBOs, but it was kind of a hassle. The fantastic location makes up for it though!

Nice rental with private parking spot. When arriving from a long trip, I’d like to shower but there was no body wash. Requested for it, then was given only one small tiny bottle for a 3 days stay. Hopefully they’ll improve and have the amenities ready upon guests arrival and I guess a bit extra if they’re staying like 3 days.

Everything with our stay was great! The location was perfect as we were in town for an event at Fiserv & the building is connected via skywalk. It included a parking space which was great & check in was easy! The apartment was nice & clean. No complaints!

Nice, clean, great Culver City location

I travel to LA for work often, and am usually working in Culver City. This spot was perfectly located for a super easy commute, and was clean, comfortable, quiet (aside from the traffic noise in bedroom which is easily masked by the AC fan). Spacious 1 bedroom, comfortable bed, towels, well-appointed kitchen. All for a very affordable price. I booked two more of these properties for upcoming stays!

Great location in Culver City

Great location in Culver City. Visiting family for Thanksgiving that we had not been able to see for 2 years due to Covid pandemic . I would suggest that the bed linen and especially the towels are replaced for better quality. Easy walk to restaurants, coffee shops etc, would definitely stay again.

Comfortable stay, good location

We stayed 6 nights, and made some meals in the apt. Enough pans and dishes. Since we stayed 6 nights, we had to buy extra body wash since only 1 small tube was available. We recommend adding more tubes if stay is longer that couple nights. The apt was clean. But the shower tube seemed very slippery since the bottom is smooth and not flat; easy to slip on. We recommend adding non-slip treads on the bottom to avoid an accident. We would stay again if in the area.

I needed more than my toothbrush...

Pro: Location was A1. Came for my birthday weekend and always liked the Culver city area.Downside: This is def a cash grab building with minimal attention paid to detail. The unit we received was not the one on the site and it was not clean, at all. We ended up cleaning ourselves bc we figured if it hasn't been done correctly before we came, why request the cleaning to come back. In the kitchen and fridge were food splatters and crumbs. There were wall scuff marks everywhere, shower steam droplets on the walls and ceilings with hair stuck to them. Honestly, it was kind of wild. The windows are single pane so you can hear the street if you're in a front apartment like we were. There's also a bar next door so it can get noisy at night in the weekend but that's whatever.

Good location, place is fine but needs some work

Apartment is in a good location in Culver City and easy to find. It has parking but be warned the spaces are very small. I had an SUV that just barely fit in a space that had a brick wall on one side and a pole on the other. When another car was parked next to it made it very difficult to maneuver in. Had to exit via passenger door because of the wall. Get the smallest car you can. Neighborhood is very safe and walkable. Apartment is good sized, surface clean but once you look past that needs work. It is also very tired and dated. Even simple cosmetic changes would make a difference. Bathroom is very old and bathtub/shower and sink need to be replaced. Kitchen appliances are very old. Wood around kitchen sink is in bad shape. Bed and pillows are not comfortable. That isn’t to say the place is terrible just not particularly nice. If looking for location over amenities it’s a good option. No real communication from hosts (outside of I couldn’t change parking spaces) but didn’t have other issues so no big deal. Access is easy.

Culver City Condo

Great location, can be a bit noisy at times but it always subsides quickly. Clean and spacious condo, secure with safe off street parking. Plenty of stores nearby, parks and eateries. Pet friendly and service animals accommodated. I’d stay again.

Great size apt, nice balcony and bathroom accommodations, bed was good. Parking space was hard to access and poles made entering/ exiting vehicle a challenge. Sun beating down on unit kept ac running in afternoon but unit cools off quickly as sun goes down. Noisy location next to blvd and nightclub on corner but not to point of losing sleep. Overall a good stay and acceptable amenities here at a decent price point. I’d stay again.

Nice little place across from Sony Studios

Good location in walking distance from some great shops and restaurants. Apartment was basic but clean. Bed and pillow a little on the hard side. Some noise from the Nextdoor karaoke bar one night - bring some earplugs. We didn’t go into the karaoke bar but reviews say it’s a great little place. Manager was great with communication. Overall a great value!

Exactly as pictured

The unit was sparkling clean and exactly as advertised. Temperature control was good and the water in the shower was nice and hot. I did not use the kitchen, so can't comment on that.

Great area

I love the Culver City area, the streets nearby are a great walk, and there was a lovely neighborhood/local restaurant within the homes, a few blocks away. The apartment was clean, and property manager was communicative. The only reason not to give five stars was that the apartment was right on a large street, and we heard some street noise, but you're going to get that in LA. Also, the parking spot had no room for the driver to get out of the car - again, what you're going to get in LA. Comfortable place, though!!

We come to LA often but this was our first trip to Culver City. We fell in love with the quaintness and friendly vibe. We walked everywhere. The Picalilly and Culver Hotel were delicious. There's a bar, Backstage, next door that has delicious $7 burgers on Monday night. The apartment was safe and the parking was on a back alley which was perfect. The apparent was clean and well suited for our needs.

Has everything you’d need for an extended stay

I stayed here for 3 months with my husband so we could get settled in LA and look for long term housing. The listing is extremely accurate and the place looks just like the pictures. They had everything we needed for our stay - towels, cookware, laundry on site etc. The location is probably the best part because youre right up against a quiet and safe suburban neighborhood but also just a few minutes walk away from downtown culver with tons of shops and stores. Despite being next to a bar, we never could hear the patrons or our neighbors in other units. JBYT is also very responsive and answered our questions and responded to minor maintenance requests promptly. I highly recommend this VRBO!
