"Decent value for money but only moderately clean and cleaning was very inconsistent - one day bed would be made, another day the bins would be emptied, vacuum cleaning was apparently self-service with the machine living in the hallway.
It's great to have a kitchenette, but there were no basics (I would assume previous guests would have left oil, salt, etc).
Room was a bit run down with LOTS of spots in the carpet.
Sheets were too small for the bed so they kept coming loose."
"Bayshore Hotel in Dalian was nice and comfortable. However, the strange circular shower in the middle of the room had a leak that left the bathroom floor soaking wet. I requested some additional towels to our room since we used ours to put on the floor to mop up the volume of water that leaked but the staff just gave use 4 hand towels. That was disappointing. Nice location and close to Xinghai square, which is a great park on the waterfront."

"Very good stay. The host was very kind. We were let into the room a few hours before the posted check in time. The room was clean and spacious. Cookware and dining ware were provided in the kitchen. The location is also very convenient—there’s a subway station right across the street, and the train station is just a short walk away (about three blocks).

"This was our second stay here. This is a great hotel in a great area. Labor Park is across the street, it's very nice. There's plenty of shopping in the area. They keep everything very clean. The staff is excellent and friendly. A shout out to the assistant manager, Alex. He was very helpful in resolving a billing issue from the travel site. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of foods and the coffee was excellent. We'll be back the next time we travel to Dalian."
